Those with long hair: I also have long hair and it does NOT get tangled or caught in the velcro. This was my #1 concern and it hasn't happened once. I've had it for quite a few nights now. I will note, however, that I didn't need to adjust the velcro, so I can't say if you'll have a problem if you adjust it.
My husband is a third shifter so I'm on his schedule. I got him the plain black version and we both use them, it's awesome and SO much cheaper than putting black out curtains on all 5 windows.
I've only used it once, and I will update this review after a week or so of using it. For now, I would only recommend it for side or back sleepers.
After using this mask for more than a week, I have decided I don't particularly like it. Yes, it's cute. But it moves around on my face and that lets light in. When I tightened it so that it wouldn't move around, it pressed into the bridge of my nose so hard it gave me headaches, and the strap sits heavy on the top of my ears and starts hurting by morning. Also, the strap has Velcro to make it adjustable; that's only a good idea for bald people, as it gets tangled with my hair.
The smell has gone away, and the edges have softened a bit so I don't feel like it's cutting in. But it still lets in a lot of light when I'm sleeping on my stomach (and sometimes on my side). I would only recommend this product for a dedicated back-sleeper.
Problem #1: When I took it out of the package, it had a very strong chemical smell. So I let it air out for a day and even washed it before wearing, but although the odor had dissipated somewhat, it was still noticeable.
Problem #2: When I finally did wear it to sleep, I woke up with red, itchy, crusty eyes! This has NEVER happened before in all of my years wearing a sleep mask -- I do not have sensitive eyes or eye problems, and the mask was not too tight over my eyes.
I slept without the new mask the next night, and my eyes were just fine -- no itchiness or redness. The following night, I wore the mask one more time to sleep, and I woke up with itchy, crusty eyes all over again! I discontinued use of the mask immediately thereafter and returned it.
I'm not sure if it's specifically the brown one that had these problems while the other colors do not, but I would not recommend this mask at all. I would strongly caution against wearing it, so as not to risk an eye infection.

Only used a few times but worked very well. As a very light sleeper (only get 4-5 hours) and need a dark room, this has helped. Even used it for a nap or two.Published 22 days ago by taurusgirl
Best sleep mask I've ever had! The slightly smaller size makes it so much more comfortable because it fits better. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Rhoda Cataleta

The best sleep mask but one star deduction for the rough exposed velcro on the head strap. It tangles in my hair every morning. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Amber Soules
Cute and it keeps out the light without any pressure on your eyes. Adjustable elastic band so that you don't have to toss if the elastic starts getting loose.Published 4 months ago by Maggie E
I have a wide nose so sunlight seeps through. Overall it keeps most of the light out and I have slept better for the last 3 weeks since using this.Published 4 months ago by m
