Oh, wait. I do not. Upon attempting to recover from a new computer, I immediately run into problems. The software is telling me there is no back-up data to be found. So even though I can see via explorer that I have all of the folders for all of the different times I did back-ups I cannot recover the data.
Customer service agent said I should have used an additional back-up source to back up my back-up basically letting me know it is my fault for trusting the product to do what it is supposed to do and I can take it to a service company to see if they can recover my data but there was absolutely nothing she can do for me. And do not bother with email support; you will got get a response.
Works with Linux Mint! (who uses anything else?)
Backs up my entire NAS!
1TB accessible from my tablet! (!!!)
Was pre-formatted and ready, just plug and go!
Stays cool to the touch even after running all night transferring files!
The blue indicator bar looks great but can be easily concealed with a piece of electrical tape if you need additional stealth for uploading Stuxnet timed release code to web-isolated Iranian centrifuge PLC systems during black ops!
Just simple USB like it should be... no external power source needed!
Superb job Buffalo!
I originally used a Seagate GoFlex 320GB, but wanted to upgrade to more storage space for videos and backup. I kept the Seagate and it still works great, even after travelling with me for my year abroad. I'll be junking this drive and buying another Seagate to replace it.
One other flaw, the drive has an obnoxious blue light that lights up the entire room. Minor, but annoying.
**** UPDATE ******
Unit died two months later with format and I/O errors. Had to ship back at my cost for replacement. We'll see what happens with the replacement....
