From the Inside Flap

We live in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

We may be born too late to explore earth, and born too early to explore space. Yet, we may be here just in time to witness the rise of AI.

That is, if you help build it.

Everyone's building AIs these days, from AI personal assistants, to self-driving cars. You will hear new players entering the AI game daily, from well-known tech giants like Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, to relatively new names like DeepMind and OpenAI.

Deep Learning is the latest iteration of AI. Although the concept itself has been around for many years, deep learning has become popular during the past few years due to the remarkable breakthroughs it continues to achieve. What was science fiction a decade ago, is now becoming a reality.

Thanks to deep learning, AI technologies are increasingly becoming a part of our household. Today, most of our consumer devices and services have some sort of AI built into them. Maybe it's time you joined the revolution. You too can start contributing to this AI drive.

New tools and resources on deep learning are becoming rapidly available, making this the perfect time to start learning.

When you're starting out, deep learning may seem a bit overwhelming. But this book is all about getting you through those first steps and showing you the fastest way to start building deep learning systems.

From the Back Cover

Deep Learning is no longer shrouded in mystery. In fact, it is the emerging new frontier - the bleeding edge - of AI. It is increasingly achieving superhuman feats and evolving beyond human comprehension. From image and voice recognition, to AI personal assistants and self-driving cars, achievements and breakthroughs that were once mere science fiction are now becoming our reality.

The question now is, do you want to simply be a bystander in this new-age game?

The art of building deep learning systems is becoming easier every day.

This book can be your guide to discovering it yourself.
