When Skye larkin's husband dies in an accident, she is left trying to keep her ranch together after she discovers he gambled all their money away before he died. Unable to get a loan she begrudgingly has to accept the money offered from bad-boy bull rider Tyler Hayward, the twin brother of her good friend.
Skye blames Ty for her husband's bad ways believing Ty's drinking and gambling habit rubbed off on her husband. But not all is what it seems and when Ty tries to convince her he is not the big bad she thinks he is, a lot of truths surface and change Skye's world.
This was ok. Not great, but not bad either. An easy and enjoyable read but this should have been better than it was. There was great chemistry between Skye and Ty, I liked all the supporting characters and the story was good. I liked it but i needed more, I can't explain it but something was just missing. I think this is one of those that you can't just go by the reviews; you have to read and decide for yourself. You will love it or you won't.

You may think he already has… and in not so good ways…
So you’ve already made up your mind about this bad boy bull rider…
But everything is not as it seems.
Better hold on tight. You’re in for the ride of your life, and a whole-lotta-truth is about to come out.
In many ways, this was a frustrating book. I wanted to reach into the pages and shake some sense into Skye.
Not that Tyler was perfect, either.
But-- for cryin’ out loud!
Both of them had more than enough stubborness and pride to-- well, never mind.
I really did enjoy this story of Ty’s second chance with Skye. And in spite of everything I liked them a lot.
The author also painted a very good picture of the town, gave an inkling of ranch life and the rodeo circuit…
And the secondary characters were a hoot!
Bottom line: Good book. 4 stars.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I thought this was a cute read that was enjoyable. The chemistry was great with the characters which were likable but something is missing. It does pull you in but I did find my mind wondering a little. The author was able to pull me back in. A good enjoyable read.
I received a free copy of this book via Reading Deals and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Mason seems to like punishing himself. He loves a woman and should have told this woman about her bad marriage. Seems it could have saved a lot of time. In the end, he was the best part of the book.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story. Skye is a hurt and angry girl due to her husbands death and his leaving her broke due to his gambling. She does not like Tyler as she thinks he was part of her husbands bad habits. As it turns out she needs his help in order to keep her ranch.
The way they learn to live and work to keep the ranch going is so much fun(and sometimes heartbreaking). Very good story
