When Skye larkin's husband dies in an accident, she is left trying to keep her ranch together after she discovers he gambled all their money away before he died. Unable to get a loan she begrudgingly has to accept the money offered from bad-boy bull rider Tyler Hayward, the twin brother of her good friend.
Skye blames Ty for her husband's bad ways believing Ty's drinking and gambling habit rubbed off on her husband. But not all is what it seems and when Ty tries to convince her he is not the big bad she thinks he is, a lot of truths surface and change Skye's world.
This was ok. Not great, but not bad either. An easy and enjoyable read but this should have been better than it was. There was great chemistry between Skye and Ty, I liked all the supporting characters and the story was good. I liked it but i needed more, I can't explain it but something was just missing. I think this is one of those that you can't just go by the reviews; you have to read and decide for yourself. You will love it or you won't.

Entertaining, historical western romance. Good storyline. Enjoyed both Tyler and Skye, Jess, and Angie grew on me! Good, quick read! 3 1/2 stars.

Although I didn't like Skye, the chemistry she had with Ty was obvious. I didn't expect Skye to be over the top happy, but she seemed to be miserable through most of the book.
I also didn't understand what purpose Paige served unless she was only a catalyst to spur Skye into action.
I recommend you read this book and judge for yourself.
