Too much animal violence here. - could have got the point across without all explicit graphic scenes. Kept language to low to medium level with all the F**** words (bombs) going off in your face. It mimics so many other similar type movies you've seen before - i.e.- you know how it's going to end very early on. The three main male actors have played much better roles in other movies. Seems to have wasted their talents on this one. Almost resembles a teenage slasher movie - who needs more of this junk. Gave a 2**** only because of the three actors not their speaking roles. Save your money - there's better stuff out there (Maybe).

First off this movie involves dog fighting. It almost put me off immediately as I love dogs. As it turns out you never see an actual dog fight but nonetheless, the aftermaths are not pretty.

I have to say if you can handle it, it's one of the best criminal minds type movie I have ever seen. I was riveted watching. Great story, flashbacks and a superb cast really grab you.

Worth it. I caught it on Netflix and afterwards bought it, it's that good.

Les combats de chiens sont seulement suggérés et la maltraitance animale très habilement dénoncée au travers de flashbacks dans le passé du chien DeNiro, qui n'a pas connu l'affection et qui la rencontre finalement au travers du personnage de Brody, leur relation est très émouvante, un animal sait en effet toujours lorsqu'un humain ne veut pas lui faire du mal, en particulier lorsqu'il n'a connu que la violence. Ce n'est pas un de ces films d'action sans âme et sans intérêt comme certains semblaient l'attendre mais un beau film sur la rédemption de deux êtres un animal et un homme à travers une rencontre inattendue.
