Set sail with the Bulova Men's Marine Star Stainless Steel Bracelet Blue Dial Watch. Beautifully designed for the boating enthusiast, the round ocean-blue dial is accented with a red second hand and Arabic numerals at the six, nine, and 12 o'clock. A date calendar sits at the three o'clock. The case and silver bracelet are stainless steel and the dial face is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral window. The watch also features a fold-over clasp with safety to keep it securely in place. The Bulova Men's Marine Star Stainless Steel Bracelet Blue Dial Watch is water resistant up to 330 feet (100 meters) and has luminous hour and minute hands, making it ideal for diving. This timepiece relies on Japanese quartz movement.
In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his expertise carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch.
Bulova introduced its first line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the first electronic watch, and the first breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.
Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse collection of beautiful precision timepieces for every occasion.

The watch is a heavy watch and not for one with a small wrist. The band has both high polished and brushed stainless steel which makes it look very nice indeed. The push-button clasp with safety makes the watch fit securely on your wrist.
All I can say is that Bulova has done a good job in engineering this one. I own more than 30 watches and this is definitely one of my best ones and one that I wear the most.
As always, Amazon is a fast shipper and I got the watch in record time.
Overall, if you want a plain but cool (somewhat dressy) watch this is it. I would definitely buy it again and again. And the price ($125 or so) on Amazon was less than half what Belk's was selling them for in the store. Great watch!
Not only was the face large but the way that the links are connected to the case adds an element of inflexibility. The two closest links are set in place and do not flex or bend. If they did, the watch would have fit my wrist with no issues, but this made it so the watch was either 1 link too small or too large.
Cons: My dad (it was a gift) wore it to the pool less than a month after getting it and it completely filled up with water and stopped working. Now it's a paperweight. Description claims waterproof up to 100m, what a joke.
