This item is well worth the price the charging stand is very well made and has no weird logos, just a small blue light that lights up when charging. It does include a cable for the base, not sure what the previous reviews were talking about. I really ordered it for the charging stand but the clear case is really an unexpected plus... I found it to be very well made and am using it now. The base has a removable insert which should fit most slim cases, if the back of the case is too thick the angle will be more than it can take but any silicone or thin fit case should work fine. It works well with the case included and that case is quite nice with very little distraction from the apperance of the HTC.

I have a Cimo TPU case for my HTC One and it fits in the dock fine without the dock insert. No issues charging but I haven't tried syncing yet. I did have it connected to my PC and put the One in the dock and the PC still recognized it so I don't think there will be an issue with syncing. I do wish it was a little heavier though. I have to hold the dock down with one hand as I pull the One out with the other hand. Overall very nice dock for such a low price.

I like this very much. I have tried it with 2 slim cases and both work (with the shim removed) without having to take off the cases. I haven't tried data transfer with it, only charging, but it is very nice. It is comfortable for me to hold and use my phone while it is charging, which is what I really wanted. I ruined one cord by using it while sitting in my chair, cord plugged into the bottom of my phone while the phone rested in my hand or on my stomach, which bent the cord at a sharp right angle too many times.

One thing to be aware of if you purchase this: When I ordered, the description said, "buy one get one." I took that to mean I would get 2 cradles and thought that was a good deal for about $17. By the time I got it, the description had changed to say you got a cradle, a case and a stylus and the price had dropped $3. I contacted the buyer (Einzige) and they said that what they had meant by their description was that you buy the cradle and get the cord. (??) OK. They offered to make it right by sending me my choice of any case they sold (which is very nice case), and sent me a stylus. They also offered me a $3 refund which I have yet to see.

I really was wanting 2 cradles and I know this one works, but I am not sure I want to use this seller again, although they do have a couple of other cases I really like. So I highly recommend the product but am a little iffy on the seller. They did respond to my email within 24 hours and did send out a case when they technically wouldn't have had to, so I may go ahead and buy another and an extra case.

It made relatively cheaply. Lightweight and hollow plastic design.

It fits the phone very well without a case.
With a case, (once you remove part of the cradle) you'll probably have too much space and have a hard time plugging it in without causing any damage.

Overall, it DOES work and it's really the only choice for the HTC One. I'd buy it again, especially at the $9.00 price point.

Quality of case seems decent. Snug fit with the phone. My only issue is that when I plug my phone in for bed and wake up the next morning the "drag to unlock" feature is missing, so when I press the power button it unlocks directly to previous screen. My phone is not rooted, unlocked or anything of such. I get the feature back by a factory reset. Then put back on charger and unlock is gone. Becomes a real pain to reset it and lose everything but a locking phone is huge must for me. I realize I can put a password and such but the dock should not be doing this to my phone. Contacted the company, waiting for a response.

Also, I received the wrong case with my order, I contacted the shipper and they were more than willing to send me the correct one, waiting for it to arrive. (This was before I ran into the issue above with locking)

REVISED: Surf City was more than willing to resend the shipment with the correct case and a second dock. Everything works perfectly now. Wonderful Customer Service!

The title is deceiving I thought it came with the charger and a clear case. But no just a charger. I don't understand stand why the title would say "bundle: 2 items" the customer service person I emailed treated me like I was completely stupid. I like the charger. Not the seller.

The stand was nice but the cable they sent to me did not work. it would work for data transfer, but would not charge. I even took it off the stand to see if there was an issue and it still would not accept the charging status. I had to buy another cable, then it worked. I made contact with the seller and described my issue... but they never responded back. so... buy at your own risk.

I love the these HTC One chargers. I now have two, one for work and one for home. I use my One as an alarm clock at home and the angle is perfect for my nightstand. At work I use my phone to stream music and the front facing speakers (one the One)are great! Charges the phone quickly and never have a problem connecting/disconnecting it. I'm a fan of the simple dock chargers. I've ordered the Incipio HT-349 Feather Case and I'm hoping this won't be a problem fitting as the charger has a sleeve that can be removed if you have a case on your phone. I'll update once I get the case delivers and confirm. All in all this is exactly what I asked for and works flawlessly.

UPDATE

the case does fit with an extremely small gap.
