The pastel illustrations in the book are very nice, and do their job in assisting the story to move along. Casey Jo does a great job of telling the story from Kate first seeing the bunny to creating a home for him, all the while adding interesting facts my grandchildren will love such as:
1. Rabbits are vegetarians and don't eat hot dogs!
2. A rabbit's home should include dispensers for water and food plus some hay for comfort.
3. New pets should be checked by a veterinarian, and
4. Even a tidbit about a great musician that children (and parents) might not know.
Great book! Your children will love hearing the book and reading it themselves.

I wrote it with inspiration from my pet rabbit, JB. He was possibly the cutest rabbit in the entire world.
My good pal, Ken, created amazing art work. I've been hearing much praise for it this past week.
Overall, I really just love seeing kids interact with the story. Their joy has made creating this book totally worth it.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH to anyone who has bought, read, reviewed, rated or otherwise supported this book! <3
I hope you and your children enjoy the story!
Sing loud the praises for a book like this: not just pleasing words on a page or drawings that satisfy our eyes, but a tool for teaching our children, and our children's children, the gifts of love, charity, and friendship.
The illustrations were colorful, engaging and the perfect compliment to this sweet, simple story. I especially loved the part about the bunny turning his nose up at the hot dog! "Bunnies are vegetarians!!" Priceless!
