Best book on re-entry for missionaries that I have read. Especially great sections for TKC (Third Culture Kids, formally called MKs). Excellent for someone returning to home, to church, friends, and family receiving them. Easy read. Right on target. Should be in every mission pastor's library.

Beat Your Reverse Culture-Shock

I originally bought this for a friend moving back to her country, but read it as I'd had a rough time when I moved back to the US from Korea. This book nearly had me in tears, as it was so helpful, insightful, and comforting. It was like receiving a literary hug from someone who completely understood what it was like to move back to your passport country. It was validating and full of great advice. I highly recommend this to anyone who has to move back (or has already moved back) to their passport country and are having a tough time dealing with the reverse culture-shock.

This book gives practical, down to earth explanations and guidelines for those re-entering their home country, for children of expatriates going to their parents' country (whether for a first visit or permanently) and for family, friends and organizations receiving the expatriates "back home".
