Some of the reviewers stated this is BonJovi's attempt to fulfill his obligation with his recording studio and it was just put together with songs never released but previously recorded. Also, that there are no words or pictures on the cover or inside the album this is all true, but it should not make a difference to BonJovi fans. All and all this is a great album there is only one song that is sort of off track for the group, but besides the one the rest is what you are use to. I'm not going to break this down song by song, but I will say I was not disappointed. This no frills album was also low cost and I am very happy I purchased it. I already have the next album on pre-order.

Some masterpieces, some not-so-much

Contains quite possibly the best songs the band has written since ~2000-2005.
"Who would you die for?" is a masterpiece that sounds like something that was taken from their mid/late 90s demos, and "Fingerprints" is what that entire 2007 "Lost Highway" country-fied failure should have sounded like because this song is truly what Nashville+Bon Jovi sounds like.
These are the two strongest songs but most others are good to very-good as well.
However, this album also contains the worst thing they've ever done - "Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning" - a clear and shameless rip-off of Nickelback, and while I'm happy that it stayed unreleased when it was first written in 2008, I am still shocked Bon Jovi would sink that low.

Not one of Bon Jovi's better CDs for sure. "Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning" is more classic Bon Jovi, and the song "Bunrning Bridges" at the end is mainly for humor purposes. The rest of the songs just kind of "are what they are"- nothing real special. Overall, this is one just for the real diehard fans who want to collect every Bon Jovi CD. If you are more of a casual fan, you can just skip this one.

Don't know why they called this 'just a fan album'... it's fantastic, & I think, every bit as good as THINFS. Jon can still write/sing ballads like nobody's business; 'Fingertips' & 'Blind Love' will not disappoint (my 2 fav songs)! I've always taken my boys to concerts since they were young enough to want to go, & my youngest son loves Bon Jovi (I took him to their concert in 2006, & when we were walking out of the venue, he looked at me and exclaimed, "Now *that's* a concert!" Now my grandson loves them (& he's only 4; you have to start them off on the right music, ya know?! 🤗). Bon Jovi will always be the #1 band in my heart, & Classic Rock the best genre, period.

For die hard Bon Jovi fans this album will not only make sense but draws a line under the Richie saga/era. No, it's not their best album this goes without saying but, if you know about Jon and the band and not just judging this as an outsider the you will just get it, like it, then no doubt love it. Everyone has differing opinions when it comes to music, after all it's a form of art and, like with most art you either get it and what the artist is trying to convey or you don't. If they ever sorted things out properly and this paved the way for a return from Richie then great but for now, let's just take the band as they are.

3 good songs, 2 average songs, 5 bad songs - about right for Bon Jovi these days (excuse the pun)......can't ignore the fact that the best song on here was co-wrote by Richie Sambora though, doesn't bode well for future Bon Jovi releases without the 'soul' of the band.

Although marketed as an 'I don't care' album by JBJ you can be damn sure that the CEO doesn't put his name on any old trite and he was not downplaying it before some of the reviews so draw your own conclusion.....

For me, should the next album (slated for March 2016) not be up to scratch then, with a heavy heart, I shall withdraw from my blind purchasing of Bon Jovi albums and consign them to a history of mid 80's to mid 00's brilliance book ended by some bad times that needn't have been put on record

Jon & the boys certainly didn't go overboard with the artwork on this album; did they!?! {He says tongue firmly pressed in cheek!} Then again, the title says it all, so why would they?
Speaking of the title - I love; absolutely love the title track!!! "...here's another song that you can sell, we called it 'Burning Bridges', it's a singalong as well!" Way to go guys!! I just think it is so cool that Jon & the boys use their talents to tell it like it is. My kind of people!!

Loved Bon Jovi since the early days, This has a couple of solid songs on it which are great to sing along to! It will be interesting to see what the new album is like without Richie, I would like to hear more stripped down songs with not so much synth in, Bon Jovi have always been a band I will follow if your fan then get it but I don't think it will attract any new fans. Enjoy!!
