These shoes are good tor doing splits though. Be advised that if you don't have something to stop you, you won't be able to control the stretch.
These assessments were made with a tile floor as the primary surface. Previously I had a pair of shoes like these, and the stitching at the bottom started to wear out as soon as I started walking on concrete.
They are narrow, but being 100% cotton they will stretch to fit your foot - give it a few days (3, maybe?) and they slip on with comfort. I also have a spot on the left foot where (on every pair!) my baby toe wears through the top of the shoe. So, I suppose these things do have a bit of eccentricity, but again, this is not a flaw, just the way of 100% cotton shoes!
Depending on how much I wear them (most of every day for me!) they will last at least 3 or 4 months (if I wear them till they drop off my feet I can get 6 months or more, but people begin to make comments...). Now that may not sound like a lot, but back when I only used a pair for Tai Chi (a long time ago!), they lasted more than a year. And for the price that's not bad at all!
And remember: These work as a wonderful everyday slipper (I even wear them to the grocery on occasion...) as well as a Tai Chi shoe.
Just stay out of the rain.
These shoes are NOT good for training outside. The shoes are completely made of fabric and fall apart really quick when walking over pavement & concrete.
Lasted me One month before the bottoms wore through.
Simple shoes.. why get all fancy for indoor shoes?
Id imagine the soles wouldnt last too long on a concrete/asphalt environment, but they would probably hold up fine on grass and dirt or smooth surfaces.

These were part of a costume for my boyfriend. They fit fine, but are definitely not outdoor shoes. After a bit of wear, the sole, and subsequently his socks, were soaked through.Published 12 months ago by Luolan
