Shopped around a lot of reviews and wanted a good golf gps watch that was easy to read and gave me accurate hazard information. This watch does the trick. I have found the yardages to be spot on with the fairway markers. It holds a charge well but can't tell you how many holes it will last as I tend to play 9 and then just recharge after every 3 times out. At that pace it has never run low. The only drawback I have found is the time it takes to locate your course, maybe 7-10 minutes (a little less maybe). I will say that if it has my course (Siler City Country Club), then it most likely will have wherever you are playing. I'm very happy I made this purchase and I was not given any discount of other benefits for this review.

This is a good device to have on the course. I owned a Bushnell laser rangefinder for several years and left it in the fairway at a course and noone turned it in so I wanted another rangefinder. With a hand-held laser rangefinder you have to get it out of its case, stand by the ball, and try to acquire the flag, not always easy to do. I did feel I was getting a highly accurate reading, however. If it's cart path only, you have to carry it out with you to the ball, along with your clubs. That's how I lost mine. I set it down on the grass and walked off w/o it after the shot. Laser rangefinders as good as the Bushnell aren't cheap, either. So the Bushnell name was on this product, the price was very agreeable, so I bought it. I think it does a pretty good job. To update this watch you have to join some website and give them some personal info like your phone #. I wasn't too happy with that. The update didn't change anything that I noticed, either. When I stand on the tee to a par 4 it might just give me the distance to the green-side bunkers, so that's not too good. But I mostly just need to know my distance to the front, middle, back to the green on approach shots and it's nice to just have to look at your wrist like checking the time, so that's really convenient. It has some nice features, like if you think you just boomed some drive off the tee you can press a button and check your distance. All-in-all I'm happy with it.

Very easy to use. Helped my round so much. It's incredible to see actual distances, and how far you REALLY hit clubs. My first rangefinder, I've always guessed yardage. Given that I try to play new coursse all the time, I waste a lot of shots guessing yardage and ending up in hazards.

Charge it as soon as you get it. Log onto their Bushnell iGolf site, lets you see all the courses you play at and download an updated course file.

When it asks you for the serial number, don't use the one on the box, it's the one on the back of the watch itself.

And it's a regular watch when you aren't playing. Damn I like finding a product that works.

This is a very handy accessory to have. Even if you have a range finder this comes in handy.

Having just bought new irons I am using the distance feature to get a better idea of how far I hit each club. When it's cart path only having this on your wrist is one less thing to carry. It tells you how much green you have to work with and not just the pin location.

2-Jan-17 UPDATE:
Todays round was cart path only due to heavy rains overnight. Being able to grab a few clubs and walk across the fairway to my ball and have the yardage to the front, center, and back of the green on my wrist was great.

On top of that I hadn't worn the watch in a month and it was 3/4 charged and lasted the round.

I use this every time I play. I have not yet found a golf course that is not on the software. Readings are almost always accurate. The fact that it is a watch allows me to wear it and not have to make lots of extra trips to pick up a hand held version. I like the fact that it is a regular watch when not a range finder. I would like it if it had a longer battery life, but it gives me at least two outings per charge. As a watch it lasts for a long time-- weeks.

I really like this watch. First, it's suitable for daily wear just as a watch. I wore it 5 days without charging and still had some battery power left. As for golf, it seems as accurate as other watch and the controls are easy to use even with my glove on. I did get 36 holes completed without a charge. I especially like the feature of being able to set my tee time in the watch up to 6 days in advance. It automatically starts searching for satellites and nearby courses 7 minutes prior to the tee time. That saves me from fumbling to set up the the watch in the first fairway to get a distance to the green.

Nice looking watch, but the web-based software sucks. The installation program would not load on my computer (Windows 10) and I later found that it was designed for Windows XP and does not play well with later versions of Windows. Without the installation program, the firmware will not update and the pre-loaded courses cannot be viewed. Makes the watch a $200 piece of junk. Returned for refund the very next day.

Well I'm well pleased with all the functions , tells you how far your hazards and where they are , very clear to understand it's found all the golf courses I've played on upto now , if you want a good golf watch buy it. Also it has other functions ie how far you hit the ball by setting up before you tee off or on fairway and when you get to your ball wherever it lands it will tell you how far you have hit the ball .
Well impressed glad I purchased it .
