Its a ligthweight and super clear view.
Now lets find out if the built quality is good. !! In 2 or 3 months i will write again to tell you about built quality.
Today i am realy happy about how clear of the image is.
....well 1 year later i've been useing them to watch birds and animals in the mountain. I am think to buy another pair of this. Very clear, very good construction. I have never used a pair of binocular that cost more than $150. So i can not make a comparsion but, i am very pleaced whit the clarity and performace.
I bought these for my son and daughter in law so he could use them for hunting & she for birding. They do have a close focus of 8.2 feet and crisp & clear.
I picked these up on a Chrismas daily deal and would recommend these binoculars to my friends even at there current selling price.
All said if these would of been available 10 years ago when I purchased my Kahls I would of chosen the Trophy XLT 10X42.
I suspect that to get the quality I had in the Bausch & Lomb's, I'd have to pay $500 to $1,000. You get what you pay for, these Bushnell's aren't even worth $100. You will probably be disappointed if you buy them.
The covers on the big end are loose, but if you put them on so the caps fall forward and are attached from the underside of the binoculars they are perfect because they fall out of the way when you are looking through the binoculars, but easily are snapped back into place when you put them away.
Speaking of which, if you put them back in the case with the small end going in FIRST, then the covers on the big end stay on and in place.

Let me explain that my personal binoculars are Swarovski ELCs worth about $2600.
I bought a similar pair to the Bushnell for my wife a while ago for about $350 and they've been very good so, when I needed another pair, I gave these a try.
Solidly build, waterproof (I assume) and they work well.
No, they are not as good as my Swarovskis but they are darn good for the money.
The adjustments are smooth and slop-free; the eyepieces adjust easily for glasses or not; the diopter setting is easy and positive and, in daylight, they are excellent.
Great build quality. Feel great in the hand. The overall look is great. The glass is wonderful. They came well packaged, including a case and a nice bag to protect them
They are worth every penny of the price I paid. Id consider them a high-end mid-entry item.
They may not be "Vortex" quality, but for the price, you cannot go wrong. they will last you years. I would highly recommend.
You can also buy an accessory to have the ability to set on a Tri-Pod.
