I wanted to knew that the shooting berm was 40 meters long but I wanted to know where 25 meters was for AR15 zeroing and also were some other
closer distances were for handgun shooting. This would also help on return trips so I could practice shooting from the same distance and
work on other problems in my shooting knowing that they were all at the same distance.
Works great, works fast, excellant rangefinder. I wish I would of hand one of these years ago. I was practicing shooting distances at all kinds of things. I even verified the 40 meter mark the range owner had put down in the berm years ago.
I orderd the product to be delivered overnight and I received them (3) the next day.
One thing, though: The word "clam" in the description does NOT refer to the unit's color. The unit is NOT green like the one depicted in the illustration. It is a black unit. The word "clam" in the item description refers to the annoying clear plastic "clam-shell" packaging the rangefinder is contained within.
BTW, do not buy the extra case. You get a free case with the unit.
The strap that comes with the rangefinder is useless. There are no directions on how to attach it and there is no obviously logical way to determine how to do so. Fortunately, I had a different strap from a recent convention badge that worked beautifully.
