Uh, am I doing something wrong? This thing is slow af. It takes about a minute to boot up and get signed in. Am I just spoiled because the macbook boots up right away? Ive never bought a laptop before, butI'm a bit annoyed spending $700 for a slow-ass laptop.
I downloaded Chrome, and it's insanely laggy. Everything on this laptop is laggy, right down to the updates (which is currently frozen at 60%, even though I ran the updates when I first got it).
And probably the final straw - I started this on full battery just 20 minutes ago, and now the icon says I have an hr and 45 min left of battery life. Oh cool. Super disappointed on my first big purchase.
The ONLY issued I have found with this one is the Battery. It only has a 5 hour battery life, so there isnt much you can complete without having a power source nearby. I tested it out one evening, and got only 4.5 hours on it before it got to 3% battery life left, from 100%.
Well worth buying as long as battery life isnt going to be an issue.
And uninstall the app you arnt going to use but other than that very nice comp. I'm just hoping it will last for years to come it also helps to do the advance windows insiders program the preview 10 is the way to go it makes the computer run so much faster than the build that's on it
I have only two grievance's with this "business laptop". 1 is that it comes with Windows Home instead of Windows Pro. So there is no support for any type of networking in a server environment. The second and last thing is Lenovo warranty. You only get one year of coverage and the only thing that is covered is phone support. Be smart and buy the SquareTrade warranty for 4 years. They are awesome, I've used them many times before. It's not from them I know there's warranty companies out there that will do it too.
