"Absolutely amazing! It completely shifts your paradigm of life. One of the most wonderful things about it is that the results are immediate. My whole perception and relationship to money made a major, substantial change."- Chris Attwood, writer and teacher, California
"I've spent most of my life trying to figure out what's true and what's real. I have to say I now have a clear glimpse into what it really is." - Tom Hill, Colorado
"Before Busting Loose, I was very unhappy and frustrated in my life. I was driven to find more ways to make money. I changed jobs, cities, countries, went back to school, read books. Financially the stress was causing anxiety attacks and migraines so severe I stayed in bed... The joy I feel now is priceless. Money is there when I need it, in the amount that's needed, no matter what occurs (car repairs, unplanned trips, etc.). It's absolutely amazing!"- Suresh Thakoor, Texas
"As a retired professor on a fixed and limited income, I always lived from a tight budget and felt compressed by it - especially at the end of the year. I don't use a budget anymore and have opened up to new streams of income that were always closed to me in the past."- Howard Rovics, Connecticut
"It opened a whole new dimension for me and shifted my perspective of life completely. I especially love how practical it is. The application is so simple, so effective and fun!"- Doris Kahle, Hagen, Germany
"I' d had a lot of success in the corporate arena, made a ridiculous amount of money and lost a ridiculous amount of money. But I was caught in a cycle of making it, losing it. I needed to break that cycle - for myselfand my family - and this gave me the keys to do that. Busting Loose From The Money Game opened a window I had no clue even existed. This is very cutting-edge; a revolutionary approach to unwrapping yourself from limitations. If you're not satisfied with where you are financially and you're concerned about your future, get this book!"- Ben Coleman, Texas

His teachings were different but I didn't really understand a lot of what I was listening to but I never forgot about Robert. Then when Busting Loose From the Money came out I bought the book and read it cover to cover. Notice, that I said I read it cover to cover but I didn't do the work. I mainly didn't do it because I was afraid of reclaiming my power from the eggs. The eggs as Robert explains are those things that enable us to buy into the illusion that we are in fact limited beings with limited powers. I was unwilling to run towards something that could potentially be very painful when I didn't have to. Keep in mind calling something painful is a Phase I term that is not actually the Truth that you will ultimately find out once you begin doing Phase 2 work.
Phase I - Is doing and living in a way to convince ourselves how helpless and limited we are. We will do anything to keep this illusion alive so that the ultimate game of life works.
Phase II - Is telling ourselves the Truth about who we really are so that we can begin to reclaim the power that we've given away so that we can live in a state of continuous Joy regardless of what is going on outside of us. (which in Truth is nothing at all)
So I read the book and I ran. Again, I never forgot about the book because it was so different from anything that I had ever read before. Fast forward to 2011 and that's when I could no longer ignore the fact that I was not entering Phase II work. There were a series of events that happened in my life that were so painful that I went looking for answers. I first was led to A Course In Miracles (ACIM) which really blew my mind about what was True and what wasn't. I read alot of the course and I still to this day embrace the teachings in the Course. ACIM says that you either accept The Course in its entirety or not at all. It also clearly states that many of the things you read in the book will be startling, that you may not agree with them but it is the doing/practicing/putting into action those things that will allow you to know that they are True.
This is the same thing that drives Busting Loose. I've read tons of reviews where people have not done the work suggested in the book, yet they try to process the information through intellectual reasoning which cannot be done. Everybody wants the orgasm without doing any foreplay. This is simply not how it happens with Phase II work. The majority of the nectar and joy is in the foreplay not when you reach the orgasm which only lasts for a short while but still there are many who wish to jump straight to this point.
So this year I bought the Ebook again because things continued to spiral down for me including having a business checking account and savings account being overdrawn by 832,000 in both accounts because of a law suit. This is only the mild portion of what I have been personally able to create in my Hologram. I have some really huge eggs with some tremendous power being stored in them. At the time of this writing I am still afraid but I have no choice now but to use the processes Robert talks about in the book and Bust Loose once and for all.
Don't be deceived by the title because this book is about much more than money. In fact, I'd say the title is sexy only because it will intrigue you because once you start this process it affects every aspect of your life. I love simplicity and Robert's book is so simple in that it gives you a framework to work within. No planning, no goals, no attachments, and no expectations. Wake up each morning, see what is causing discomfort for you and apply the tools that he outlines in the book. Now it's simple but it ain't easy and anyone who says that it is may not be telling you the whole Truth.
A few more important factors that I'd like to bring out about the book are:
1. Learning to trust my Expanded Self totally is a big key to moving through this process.
2. My Expanded Self will never put more on my plate than I'm capable of handling.
3. There is no such thing as improving the Illusion. How you improve on something that is not true?
4. My Expanded Self will always lead me to the Eggs that have the most power to be reclaimed and I don't have to go looking for it?
5. Infinite is Infinite and it can't be measured.
6. Everybody that I encounter are only characters in my play and can do no more or less than they've been instructed to do.
Robert's book has done volumes for me so far and I'm so delighted with myself that I created him to come into my life at this time. This book is not for everyone but if it is for you I promise that you will know it.
In truth, this is not a book about money. It's about letting go of resistance, about realizing that you are creating your own reality, and about learning to do so fearlessly and with abandon as the powerful being you actually are. It's about learning to trust your gut within this dream we call life. All good.
If you are a student of A Course in Miracles and feel you've reached an understanding of it, you will find that just about everything Robert says is contained within it. Other aspects of Busting Loose can be found in the Seth books, in the Abraham Hicks material, Byron Katie's "The Work", the writings of Guy Finley and his teacher Vernon Howard, in quantum physics, and I'm sure in many other places.
Robert is not originating this material, but he is putting it together in a way that is unique and that offers a new view of timeless truths.
Everyone's path is different, and for me, Robert's "Process" is a bit overly controlling, verbal and dramatic, but I do see that in the case of truly distressing pockets (what he calls eggs) of limitation-based belief systems that cause one intense discomfort, it might be very helpful. I have done similar things in such cases.
In general, however, a more gentle and awareness-based system seems to work equally well. One's power does not need to be wrested from limiting belief systems. It was never in them to begin with. One's power is simply restored to awareness automatically once a painful belief system is seen as false. It's like locating a door handle once the light is on.
What I find a little uncomfortable is the very idea of a particular Busting Loose Point in time. This creates a dichotomy that is not really there. Letting go of human fear and learning that you are creating your own reality is a gradual process for most people. We "bust loose" again and again. The very idea of a particular "point" creates an ego goal--similar to the ego idea of enlightenment, or awakening. It intensifies the "seeking" behavior. Even though the point Robert is talking about can be defined as completely accepting your "here and now" without resistance, he makes it sound as though it is something difficult, dramatic, and exotic, while at the same time giving accurate non-dual pointers. Kind of tricky.
I also disagree, as did one of the other reviewers, with Robert's interpretation of Phase One as being a deliberate creation of one's Expanded Self, with the goal of setting up the amnesia. This feels "off" to me. I don't agree with the idea of there being phases, one in which you are supposedly deliberately unaware and the next in which you are achieving awareness. Are you a Phase 2 Player? A Phase 3 Player? This whole game metaphor sets up a competitive-achievement mindset that seems counterproductive to me. But, I'm sure it is fun and appealing to others, so whatever floats your boat.
I loved reading about the concept of tangled hierarchy. I'd never heard that phrase before and it delightfully describes the idea that, as Guy Finley puts it, "there is no solution at the level of the problem." This is a fantastic tool to have on one's toolbelt, as is the idea of money-as-appreciation and the understanding that what you give, you are giving to yourself.
In summary--there's a ton of good information in this book. Lots of usable bite-sized idea chunks that you can add to your awareness arsenal. But it is not the only way, and certainly does set up a goal-oriented situation in which I could see people plunking down lots of green appreciation in order to "get it."
Whether or not you agree with Robert's use of metaphor or the way he makes his money, the fact that this is an unusual book full of explosive content cannot be denied.
