1.) I wish there was a bit more space for actual sermon notes, but I've encouraged my daughter to just use any free white space to jot down her notes.
2.) We are still working on the whole concept of HOW to take notes, so it might actually be nice for this book to include a few pointers in the front of the book to help get kids started.
3.) I'd like to see an "application" section each week. Something to the effect of, "What does this lesson mean for ME?" to really get kids thinking about how they can apply the lesson to their day at school, while playing with friends, while interacting with their family, and so on. Obviously this is also something that we can do on our own, independent of the workbook, but I know my daughter especially is one who likes doing activities in a book far better than she likes doing abstract work that her Mom came up with. ;)
If any others who have purchased this book have recommendations on how to expand its usefulness, I'd love to hear your suggestions!!
