Therefore, if money is scarce, there are far better uses for it than in buying this skimpy book.
I can only assume that the very positive reviews were written by personal friends, since I do suspect that the average recipient would be shocked at how little content is included for the price. If THIS is all Steve could write about his unusual life, then perhaps the book wasn't really worth publishing. I have written longer Christmas letters to send with a Christmas card to people.
Unfortunately, the reader also deserves for the author to take his craft seriously. If I had to guess, the author here did spell check his work, but apparently didn't then proofread it. Too many instances of "sight" where "site" was meant, to name one of many annoying examples. And, I cringed when Mr. Neill, who works in the industry, referred to actress Teri Garr as "Carrie" Garr.
Here's hoping Mr. Neill will polish this book up and re-release it. At that point, it will definitely merit 5 stars.
i wish the author had allowed his book to be edited. There are many typos, misspellings and grammatical errors throughout which were distracting as well as sometimes humorous. However, i am considering buying the book by the researcher, Yvonne Smith if there is a Kindle version.
