Jon is best known for his graphic novel TELENY AND CAMILLE, an adaptation of the anonymous Victorian novel of Gay love attributed to Oscar Wilde and circle, which won a 2010 Lambda Literary Award, and FEARFUL HUNTER, which was the recipient of the 2010 PRISM Comics Queer Press Grant. His most recent works have been editing the anthology ALPHABET, QUEER HEROES coloring book, BUTCH LESBIANS OF THE 20s 30s, and 40s coloring book and, now, BUTCH LESBIANS OF THE 50S, 60S, AND 70S.. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This was clearly a work of love for the artists and writers of the Butch Coloring Book - and a much needed homage to butches everywhere, many of whom have lived their lives in stealth and invisibility. Reading their stories and seeing their images was inspiring. Brave, fabulous folx who lived authentically and out loud - thank you so much for bringing them to life in such an amazingly creative way.
