One weird thing that happened is when I tried to close it once it felt lose and it wanted to pop open on me but a little pressure around the entire ring and not just one side and it securely closed. I guess one side wasn't closed so it offset the balance so the catch wasn't able to hold it well.
Overall a very nice piece and an absolute improvement over the elastic end caps that come with that scope.
Besides the incorrect information from the manufacturer's site, the cover is really nice. I have the objective lens cover and it is snug. The eye piece cover is fairly quiet when it pops open. If you're hunting, you'll probably want to hold onto the cover as it opens to make it silent.
I gave this 4 stars because it CANNOT be returned to Amazon.
I highly recommend these scope caps
[...]You can find your scope make and model starting on page 4 which is super helpful. As stated, the chart was accurate for my Leupold scopes. If you still are unsure, I would suggest going to a local dealer that carries Butler Creek products and confirm the size that way.
