Chris was born in Australia and moved to the United States at 25 after co-founding an IT business and selling it three years later. Immediately he was faced with the confusing and complex nature of the US Immigration system. After originally launching The Visa Coach at http://visacoach.org (formerly E3visa.info) in 2009, which helps thousands of immigrants every month in their U.S. Immigration journey, he began working on this book to help foreigners all over the world. He brings a unique perspective to the confusing topic of U.S. Immigration, having held three different types of U.S. visas himself, as well as undertaking the complex Green Card process. He understands from a firsthand perspective all the fears, questions and needs that a foreigner really needs to live, study and work in America.
He has presented in major forums like SxSW and SIPA, been covered in publications in Forbes, Adobe Insights and AdExchanger and has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland. He currently resides in New York and apart from his partner, Yvonne, his passionate loves are travel, cuisine, theatre, wine and liquor making, audiobooks, politics, history, keeping fit and football of the Australian and round ball varieties.
