C-Line Report Covers
Instantly Protect Reports with a Professional Looking Holder
Whether turning in a book report to a teacher, or a project proposal to a customer or your boss, how information is presented matters. Time is spent on gathering the facts and creating the documents. Why not spend time on the appearance of the report?
Instead of using staples or paper clips to group the pages together, use C-Line’s Report Covers. These letter-size holders can store up to 30 pages at a time, depending on the style. And the heavy duty plastic cover acts as a protective layer in order to keep the pages free of damage.
Covers are available in a variety of colors, and they are all translucent so the report’s cover sheet is still visible. Choose between two different closure styles that C-Line offers. The swing clip closure makes it possible to add or remove pages with ease, while the binding bar style acts like a book spine when it is secured on the report cover.
These plastic holders can be assembled in a matter of seconds once the report is complete. Select one of the colors in the assortment to coordinate with your company logo or use the clear option to let the cover sheet stand-out.
Simple to use and professional in appearance, C-Line’s Report Covers help protect the documents inside, while keeping the information in order.
- Create a professional presentation or report by storing pages in Report Covers
- Store up to 30, 8-1/2” x 11” size pages in the cover, depending on the style
- Available with two different closure designs: a swing clip and binding bar
- Report Covers and Binding Bars are sold individually or as a set
Report Cover Styles and Accessories
Report Covers with Swing Clips
This letter-size Report Cover has a very unique closure that secures documents in place. The swing clip is designed to make it easier to add and remove pages without taking the entire report out of the cover. To use, simply swing open the clip, insert pages and secure the clip to the cover. This style is available in two different designs. Economical C-Line style 32800 features a clear front and back with assorted color clips. This design has a shiny clear finish making it transparent. Premium C-Line style 99326 has a frosted clear front cover and a colored back cover with black clips. This style also comes in an assortment of five different colors.
Report Covers with Binding Bars
The heavyweight plastic cover protects pages, while the bar keeps the documents and the report cover in place. Since the report covers are open on three sides, the binding bar acts like a removable spine that secures documents in place. To use, insert the letter-size pages into the cover. Next, slide the report cover into the binding bar by starting at the end and moving the bar up. Report Covers with Binding Bars are available with clear or assorted colored covers with white binding bars, clear covers with assorted binding bars, and colored covers with matching colored binding bars. Search C-Line 32550.
Report Covers Only
Presenting a report in just the Report Cover allows more freedom to remove pages and make notes during a meeting. The heavyweight plastic material of the report cover will protect the pages inside from being damaged. Once the presentation is done, clients can put the pages back in the cover. These letter-size report covers come with a clear finish, making it easy to view the cover page stored inside. Search C-Line 31357.
Binding Bars Only
When sold with the report covers, the binding bar size is 11 x 1/8 inches, which can hold up to 20 letter-size pages. C-Line sells the Binding Bars Only to provide options for reports that are larger. The other sizes available are 11 x 1/4 inches, which holds up to 40 sheets, and 11 x 1/2 inches, which stores up to 60 pages. All three sizes available come in a selection of white or black. The bars can be used alone or paired with the Report Cover Only to ensure the pages are protected. Search C-Line 34551.

These bars just do not work as advertised. Of course I want them tight enough to hold the booklets together, but not so tight that it takes 2 people to get the sheets into them. I don't know if it is a poor design or if they are defective. The first time I used a tool -- a small piece of plastic -- to open the jaws, the plastic of the C-line bar cracked. That is how tight and rigid they are, but I was able to use 10 more of them without cracking. I would have sent them back but didn't feel like it was worth the trouble.
At first, we used much more expensive products, because that's what our local office supply house carried. We were running into problems because the clips were really designed for 25 sheet books, and we were well over 30.
At some point we started looking for more cost effective options. One of the things that sold us on the C-Line product is they had several different spines, so we could select an appropriately sized spine for the cookbook we are shipping to our customers. The 34227 is great for up to 60 page documents. Another is good for smaller documents.
Many times people worry what they will give up when they buy a less expensive product. Is the name brand product (which shares my name) really better? We've found the C-Line product to be at least as good as the name brand product, and we're more than happy to pocket the savings!
If we love the product so darn much, why didn't we give it 5 stars? It may not be fair, but at times it is hard to put the spines over the clear plastic report covers, and we wind up cutting the plastic covers. We had the same issue with the name brand product. And since the spines are held in place by friction, I think it's just part of the overall picture - some won't work right. But, it'd be great if the entry to the spine was a little smoother.
Oh - our oddest use for the spines - we lost the blade guard for our bread knife. One of the spines does a great job!
I have not found that to be true. Yes, they are a tight fit, but that is how they hold the pages together, by being a tight fit. If they weren't tight, they wouldn't work.
I found that I could line all my pages up, pry open one corner of the binding bar to start it on the top edge of my pages, then it slides down the length of the pages perfectly.
My project (a film script) is 56 pages total, and the clips are holding and make the script look much more professional than if I had used the typical three-hole punch and brass fasteners.
A good buy from my perspective.

These work great; however, I really needed * 1/2 inch ones but couldn't find them so I had to cut each of these by hand.Published 12 days ago by TommyC
