Coppice & Brake: A Dark Fiction Anthology
Aug 26, 2020
$4.99
A night guard brings an offering to the eternal denizens of a notorious prison.
In a young girl's room, the shiny people keep watch in the night.
A proud father beams as his son takes the stage for the performance of a lifetime.
The stories in this anthology are the glimpses of the dark places between the forest and a dream. They are the shadows seeking the last notes of a dying violin. They invite the reader into a world where a condemned man faces his fate over and over and over again. Coppice & Brake is an anthology of dark fiction, featuring tales from the borderlands of horror, speculative fiction, and the nightmare fears that linger even after you turn on the lights.

Essays in Travel and Humor Vol. 1: Wanderer
Sep 7, 2012
$5.95
Here are 29 essays accompanied by 24 illustrations by author and photographer C. Patrick Neagle, originally published in a fabulously well-regarded (by its two dozen readers) weekly newspaper column. The writings included in this first volume of essays take you careening along with the author on his misadventures in the Middle East, Italy, and gleaming Mediterranean islands. Thrill as he visits a Turkish bath! Tremble with concern as he goes "wadi bashing" in Dubai! Lick a bunch of stamps as you decide that you, too, want to go traveling armed only with a camera, a large duffle bag, and a bunch of postcards!
