Rtx 2080 recognises the monitor as G-sync compatable and haven't noticed any screen tears while G-sync has been on. Need to "stress test" further. Colours also look vibrant and blacks look real black. The screen size is also really good for a monitor and as the first time owner of a curved screen, I'm enjoying it.
Would undoubtedly recommend this monitor to anyone wanting to game, especially on fps shooters or visual centered adventure games.
+ einfacher Aufbau alleine möglich
+ stabiler Standfuß und fast rahmenloses Design
+ problemlose Installation - wurde sofort erkannt
+ schönes großes Display
+ keine Pixelfehler

Build quality and design is great; albeit a faulty first monitor (dodgy button for the controls) that was replaced next day by Amazon - the monitors are outstanding!
Colour, brightness and curvature. Fantastic bit of kit so much so I have 3 of them.
I have these mounted on an Ergotron arm mounting system which took some time doing due to the curve on the back of the monitor around the vesa mounting screw holes. Bear this in mind if you're wishing to mount these monitors as I've had to purchase longer screws with some spacers to close the gap and support the monitor as the mount bracket doesn't sit flush against the back of the monitor.
My only annoyance is the limit on purchase, as I would have preferred 4 monitors but they have restricted purchase to 3.
Superb quality from Samsung!
** Update - one more annoyance is the button to control the monitors under the middle logo... the button is fiddly and damaged on one which I've returned for a replacement. It is temperamental on another! Build quality on that button could have been a little better; or better yet - use more buttons instead of one to control all features!
Yes it is a 1080p panel but with 240hz, you're not really going to notice it much unless you are one of those super accurate high res ninjas. If you are going from a 1080p 60hz, 144hz (like me) or even a QHD 60hz panel then I would recommend it. 4K 60hz users though, your mileage may vary. Quality vs Refresh rate is a big debate in the PC industry and it depends on what appeals to the person. They include a DisplayPort cable in the box which is nice as some manufacturers don't even do that.
Now for the loss of 1 star. The VESA mount placement is a bad design. It takes a 75x75mm VESA mount (which is fine) but the problem is that most VESA mounts are 75 AND 100mm and I struggled to find a VESA mount that is just 75mm only. The back doesn't fit a 100mm bracket and so I had to bend the top two edges to fit the bracket in. Of course I could have used spacers but that adds more depth from the wall.
Other than that though. The screen is perfect for users who want it standing on their desk. The brightness is very high and it is great for watching movies. There are no speakers from what I can tell but at least there is a headphone jack.
Normally I stick to LG for displays but I took a chance on Samsung and have generally been very happy with the result.
Colour accuracy is pretty amazing (99% accuracy) and obviously you have the speed attached to it, being 240hz.
The curved display really didn't make a difference to me and would have preferred it without but it isn't distracting.
The only negatives I have is regarding g sync/adaptive sync. Display quality drops massively with this on and frequent flickering gives me extreme headache so I disabled it.
Viewing angles in sunlight are very poor. I don't know if this is because of the curved screen but any glare at all renders the screen unusable, meaning I have to use it with closed curtains.
The final negative point is the quite frankly terrible mounting system for wall mounts. I suspect Samsung have done this to sell their own stuff to mount with but my monitor arm would not fit to the mounting holes because of Samsung's quite frankly idiotic design idea to place the mounting holes in a recess on the back. I had to forcefully bend the steel arm mount on my monitor arm just because it wouldn't fit. This alone nearly made me return the monitor honestly if I couldn't get it to fit but luckily I did.
