The CAP Barbell SDK5 Competition Weight Kettlebell sets the bar high for kettlebell quality. Each kettlebell is made from solid cast iron and the weight is accurate to within 1%. Each kettlebell is then machined and powder-coated, creating a seam-free surface with a texture that is both comfortable and easy to grip. The wide, flat base will ensure that your weight rests firmly on the ground without rocking. Each kettlebell is color-coded for easy identification and sorting and the weight is displayed in both pounds and kilograms.

can't beat that...
No sharp edges on the handle, the weight feels well distributed when doing KB swings...
Love using this bell for single arm cleans and snatches.
I can get a full-body workout from a single 35lb KB.
it's one of the best pieces of equipment you can buy - if ever on sale again, I will buy a 20lb and a 55lb
Good grip shape and size for larger hands.
Durable finish with a just right, not-too-slick feel.
Very reasonable price with shipping included.
Slight excessive roughness and bits of flashing on the handle that I took care of with a little filing and sanding.
Edit at 9 Months: I now have two of these in 44lb and a 53lb. The finish on the 44lb is chipped in a few spots from banging them together, but other than that they look new. The 2nd 44lb and the 53lb have perfect handles that required no smoothing, so I'm quite happy with these and still consider them to be the best value around for quality you get.
The 70lb kettle bells at my gym have larger handles, so I know it's a CAP Brand issue.
- painting looks solid and durable
- painting is grainy what is exactly what you need to hold it properly
No cons so far. Really like it and bought second one.
The only design flaw of all US kettle bells it's a ball size. exUSSR and french kettlebells, for example, much bigger (they are empty inside) and this is why they are much more comfortable. So you have to buy protection to your wrists.
