Assembled, the legs are 3' wide, about 5.5' long. (About 18" less if leg lift is removed.) It is priced similar to local retailers but 8 day delivery is handy. It is suitable for beginners weighing up to 200 pounds with an 80 lb weight set, though they say 350 and 150. Heavier people or weights, and you want to look at more expensive units, but this is a reasonably priced entry level set. It usually takes about 6 months to build a habit, then look at the $500 units.
The nuts/bolts are clearly marked but all other assembly is done from tiny drawings. You'll need a hammer (to set feet), an adjustable wrench (hold nuts) and a screw driver (attach bend pads). Assembly time is about an hour, a bit quicker if you have a ratchet set.
The unit is comparable to other low end units at sources like Big 5. It does not take up much floor space and its 40 lb weight makes it easy to move. For storing or moving to a new house, remove 2 screws and it takes up about as much space as a bike.

Great price for what you are getting. The junk in the big retailers won't compare as far as quality and the sporting goods places will want quite more for the same quality...
My primary concern with buying a low-end bench was the distance between the uprights. This one is exactly 24" between the poles, meaning you must grip the bar at that distance to do presses. I thought that seemed terribly low, but measuring the distance between my hands with a tape measure (before purchase) it didn't seem like it would be that uncomfortable. After assembling it and putting it to use, I'd think it could use an extra couple of inches there, but it feels fairly natural to do presses at that width -for a man who is 5'10" and 180ish pounds.
The safety rests are a nice feature if you typically lift alone, however they seem to be spaced oddly for such use. I can use them, but it requires either sitting the bar about an inch above my chest or pressing it 85% of the way back to the top. I hope I'm never in a position that I can't lift it off my chest at all or that I give up that close to the top. Obviously this would vary if you used it at an incline.
Overall, this bench deserves five stars. It's a great value, and feels very sturdy when assembled. The weight limit for the bench is listed at 350 pounds (including you and what you're lifting) and under that load, it feels very stable. I can't yet speak for the durability of the unit, but there aren't a great many pieces that could fail. If you're looking for a bench for casual lifting (or, like me, you can't do push-ups anymore because your age has made the pain in your shoulders, wrists, and elbows unbearable when you do) this is a great bench. Having said that, the specific design of the support between the bench and uprights makes me think that you don't want to exceed the manufacturer's specification by much. If you're a heavier person, or plan to do some serious weight training, you might want to look at one in a higher price bracket.

Edit: I've been using this for over a year now and I have some issues with it.
1) The bar for adjusting the angle of the bench is made of painted metal, it scrapes on the holes and is completely scratched up now. Some kind of plastic ring or something to protect the paint would have been better.
2) The barbell holders are way too narrow. I'm not a big guy and they are too narrow for a proper bench press. It would be better if they were spaced a few inches more so you could actually engage the chest more than the arms.
3) The foam on the leg pieces sucks. For light weights, it is enough, but now that I am stronger it is no longer enough padding. Leg extensions are possible, but quite painful on your shins/ankles. Leg curls are painful because the bench has such little padding. I've tried adding extra foam just so my legs don't hurt so much but it's not a great solution.
4) The bench is so unstable when there is weight on the leg part. If you don't weight down the other end, it will tip over.
5) The bench padding kind of sucks, it doesn't offer much support and could be way better.
6) It doesn't adjust high enough, meaning that the most incline you can do is maybe 30 degrees or something.
For the price, it's okay. But if you plan on doing any serious workouts at home, get a good adjustable bench and a separate rack for bench press. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone planning on lifting over 100lbs, it's just too unsteady and uncomfortable. This is not a good replacement for a leg extension or leg curl machine unless you add padding yourself or something. I would say that if you have never worked out and you just want to do light workouts at home, it's okay. If you plan on getting much stronger and lifting more serious weight, spend more on a good bench now rather than replacing it down the line.

The placing of the posts screws up all normal hand/bar positions. They have put the posts right in the middle of anyone's normal grip.
It's also not stable. The little leg on the front gives zero lateral support and the bench tends to lift and tilt back when lifting even 100 lbs.
Looks good on the internet, but basically non-functional in reality.
All this bench will do is get you hurt and best case, adopt bad positions to make the bench work with your body.
