Someone turned me onto these pizzas a couple of months ago, and I was impressed. I hadn't found a pizza that tasted like pizza but was an alternative you could deal with. I'm not even a veggie pizza person and love theirs. I recently have done the pepperoni one and it's good. Of course that brings back a little guilt... Still, while it's a little short on pepperoni, I throw a couple turkey pepperoni I keep around to fill it out more. Taste is great though.
Price:
I used the mobile app to order, and my fault for not noticing that when I chose 8-pack, I was only given the plain version. I selected Veggie and forgot to check that you can't get an 8-pack. Dumb of me, but also pretty silly that it now makes the 4-pack MUCH more than your local stores. You'd think you'd try to save as they push on their site that their 'direct' sale is through Amazon. You can find them in a NJ ShopRite ranging from $6.99 to $7.99 per pizza, all varieties (though silly that the plain one is the same price here). Here, you're spending $49.99 for 4, which is $12.50 per. That's around a 50-80% premium you're paying. Again, my fault for not double checking it was only 4, but it only really makes sense for this to be an 8-pack as their 'direct' ordering platform to be about $6.25 a pizza.
Delivery:
The dry ice was gone right away, even with Prime shipping, even in arriving at the start of February in the northeast with cold weather. I opened to find the boxes were warm and soggy, and I ran to the freezer when I realized. Just a disappointment as I've ordered things that require ice/dry ice and there was some left.
Overall, you'll enjoy the pizza if you're looking for more healthy version, I truly do. However, please look around your local stores first. You'll save a lot of money and they should still be frozen for you to put away and enjoy later. I highly recommend the company look into a better bulk order pricing and delivery that makes sense.
