This is very easy to use, and it shows you exactly what torque you hit because there is an indicator that stops and stays exactly where you stopped torquing.

This torque wrench is very accurate, and its one of the best quality tools I have purchased.

The quality of this tool is FANTASTIC. I would give this tool 6 stars if I could.

This tool fits very well in its case and is foam fitted in its case.

Everything about the tool is precise. Its just a great feeling.

If you need one of these for a job, definately get one. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Everything looks so professional.

I am VERY happy with this purchase.

This is a piece of functional art. In a world of imported, "soon to be in a land fill" products, this is one that I will die with and I know it will still be functioning properly! Wow, I am so impressed! This is a through back to days when manufacturers took pride in their products! It is a beautify thing to just look at. I almost wish the case was transparent so that I could keep in on my desk and admire it!!! The chrome is polished to a mirror finish on the faces of the wrench and on the bezel of the gauge.

It has both inch-lbs and Nm. It works in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions. It has a large easy to read dial that has two needles, one reads torque the other is a "follower" so that you can read the max torque reached once the force is released.

The wrench uses a torsional system rather than a standard spring system. These are much more reliable and tend to not come out of calibration as easily. Also, there is no need to remember to "zero" the settings as it naturally goes to zero when the force is released.

One final thought: the wrench comes pre-calibrated, this doesn't seem like a big deal but a couple of the name brand wrenches I was considering actually say in the instructions that the wrench may need to be calibrated! And those wrenches were nearing the $100 range and were imported. It really is a no brainer. CDI makes a bunch of different sizes and dials. I purchased this one to check and maintain my expensive mt. bike. These days bicycles use all kinds of exotic materials and torque specs are very light and very important. Too tight and you damage the material, too lose and well....

Just pick the one that best fits your needs and be happy with a tool that will most likely last the rest of your life!

First, I had no idea that CDI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Snap-On Tools. But that explains why this tool is so, so delightful.

The case it comes in is perfect -- holding it snugly without being cumbersome. Included is a detailed calibration document and user manual, as well as a little desiccant pack.

The gauge face is a brilliant, easy-to-read blue. The "active" vs" memory" needles are easy to distinguish.

Just be aware that during use, it's *very* sensitive. Snapping a socket over the ball detent is enough to cause the needle to spike dramatically (which will shove the memory needle, too, necessitating a manual reset back to zero). So, you need to be very delicate when you're taking a measurement, but the tool itself does not seem fragile, just extremely sensitive.

Made in USA Inch-lb torque wrench. Dial measures 0-150 inch pounds as well as 0-18 Newton Meters. Great protective plastic case with fitted foam inserts. Includes instructions and factory calibration cert sheet. Dial is easy to read & memory needle works as it should. Worth every penny in my opinion. Thank you CDI for making a quality product in the USA (and in the over regulated state of CA not to mention!) I took some pictures of what you get and a decent shot of the dial. Hope that helps.

Arrived 3-days ahead of schedule. Its a beautiful tool and feels very well made. I bought it to work on my Harley, which has many parts that need to be torqed as low as 12 inch-pounds. The wrench is easy to use and the dial is easy to see for an older guy like me.

With so many carbon parts on a bike that need a goldilocks' degree of precision for tightening, I had trouble finding a sturdy, accurate product. This torque wrench has a great, easy to use and read dial that makes it very easy to see how much torque has been applied. Deflection torque wrenches often leave something to be desired in the ease of use (you may not be able to see the torque reading while you are tightening) and accuracy. My minor complaint is the price, but it is obviously overengineered for a cycling application - it is designed for precise industrial applications - and likely worth the peace of mind if you have an expensive racing bike.

This product worked a advertised. It has an easy to read dial and measures accurately. The tool is well made. The instructions do not cover all that is to be learned on using this. For example, there is a pointer that is set at the desired torque reading. The torque pointer is bent at an angle so that when it hits the set pointer, it will nudge it forward. Thus, when you are at an angle where you cannot read the face of the dial, just push or pull the torque wrench until you see the set pointer move. A bit pricey, but the harbor freight product I had before this was good for only one use whereas this wrench is good as new after week of use..
