there's just no beans on this sad excuse for a guitar cable

the driver installs almost instantly when i plug it in, which gave me hope. but no matter how many settings i mess with, from windows audio, to ASIO4all v2, to the input settings in FL studio, i cant find the device to set it as the input... the red light on the USB housing is lit, and the device shows in windows computer management>device manager, but there's just no beans on this sad excuse for a guitar cable

ill continue to tinker with it since i like computers and this seems like a fun challenge. but i suggest just going over to the rocksmith cable now and save yourself the time, money, and frustration

I do get somewhat of a connection but again you are getting what you pay for. I bought this chord for minor pre production recording and my only problem in the delay in time I have from my guitar to my computer. It still works well if you don't mind unplugging it and plugging it back in every 10 minutes. Great for minor stuff, but not ideal for real recording. Still great to use just to mess around on different amp simulators though.
