The bad:
After a year of use the powder coating at the front - where the hand palm touches the keyboard - is already very stained and worn off (see image). That is a no go for a 200$ keyboard! Only giving 3 stars because the keyboard survived a water spill accident. It took a few days to dry but now the keyboard is working fine again. I also don't like the sticky rubber type on the palm rest. It is very hard to clean and appears dirty quickly.

I can feel my character is more responsive to my input with this keyboard. I play CS:GO at a very high competitive level and this keyboard is a must have for those seeking every advantage over their opponents.
If you're a competitive FPS gamer playing games like Counter Strike, Quake Live or any other "twitch" type computer game this keyboard is a must have. I don't think there's any other keyboard on the market that claims to have a 1 ms response time. My previous keyboard was a DAS Keyboard S with blue switches, a good mechanical keyboard, but this one is much better for gaming.
Other PROs: It feels very heavy and of good quality. The wrist rest is the best I've ever used, I normally do not like to use them and think they're uncomfortable but this one has converted me. The adjustable key lights are nice and help with low light gaming environments.
There is a button which puts it in "gaming mode" which CHERRY says makes the response time the fastest, disables the windows key, alt-tab and ctrl-alt-del. This is a welcome feature, without this I would have to run a script to disable the windows key or remove it physically from the keyboard to prevent accidental presses.
The only CON I have is that $170 seems a bit pricey for a keyboard however I think it's worth it. If you built/bought a fast computer, 144 hz gaming monitor and an expensive gaming mouse then you should also buy this keyboard.
Best keyboard I've owned as a competitive FPS gamer.

'Aluminium' top housing wears off in less than 9 months. The top could been just aluminium paint, no way to verify. I never seen aluminium wears off like this. The magnetic connector also getting rusty. My place is clean, no food in front of my PC, and good humidity. Bought at full price, hoping for a high quality no-frills keyboard, german qaulity. Not worth it due to poor quality. In reveiws i saw, PCB is basic qaulity, the key caps are cheap plastic, the bottom is also plastic, and not RGB or even options to turn off all LEDs.
