From the Author

My grandfather was an archaeologist  who researched the Indus terracotta art. He was an author of many a books on his favored area. Fr his effort he was awarded the Padmshree by the Government of India. I was inspired by his books into delving deep into the Life, times, culture and historicity of the people of Indus valley. As I researched, I found a mesmeric world of science, technology, culture, arts and philosophy in these people. The book 'The Chronicle of Sapta Sindhu' (Sapta Sindhu refers to the seven great rivers, including the five rivers of Punjab, the river Indus and I have added river Helmand that runs through the plains of Afghanistan, as the seventh river) is my homage to not only my grandfather but also to my forefathers and the way they developed, giving us the life that we lead today.
I have also referred to the writings of Ms. Thapar, the great Indian historian and British Sir John marshal and R.D.Banergee for their work in the excavations of the Indus Valley.
But it is a fiction and the story that unfolds in this book, id full of love, romance, wars and the role of vishkanyas, spies and the incarnate of Goddess Shakti..
It is a tale of adventure and inspirations and how, peace loving people of the Indus valley pick up arms to defeat the Greek army, led by the Queen kkassandrra and her brothers.
Despite the political evils and wars, the book talks of peace and brotherhood.
The price had been kept at minimum because this is bot just a work of fiction but also an activism.
thanks to amazon, for making this endeavor towards world peace, a possibility.
Salute to the the greatest democratic movement through, the internet and mobile, more so to the Amazon, services.
Your are doing great Jeff...
