CIPA's Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror provides the perfect solution to annoying headlight glare at night. Mirror automatically dims to reduce glare from headlights reflecting in the mirror. Sensors on the mirror indicate when bright lights are used and dim the mirror glass for comfort and safety. The Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror also offers a disable button for when dimming is unwanted. First time installations will require routing a power wire. Vehicles with an existing auto dimming mirror and a 7 pin connector can plug directly in with no fuss, otherwise the wires can be tapped using the wire tap provided. Mirror is 10 inches long by 2.5 inches tall, and is a wedge base mounting rearview mirror. This kit includes a new mirror assembly, 6.5 foot power wire harness, wire tap, 5 wire ties, wedge button, and an installation guide. Mirror mounting epoxy is not included. Hint: a camlock mount mirror is commonly found on imported vehicles and is removed by turning the mirror 90 degrees, so it is perpendicular to the dash, then pulling down on the mirror. A wedge mount mirror is commonly found on domestic vehicles and is removed by loosening a small screw or clip and pushing the mirror up toward the roof. Camlock mount Auto Dimming Rearview Mirrors are also available from CIPA (part number 36101). Made in the USA and FMVSS approved under section 571.111 of Standard No. 111. Note: We do not recommend installing these mirrors if your vehicle has airbag sensors in the headliner area, or if your vehicle is equipped with OnStar. Installation of this mirror may disable or damage certain components which are critical to the safety features installed on your vehicle. Check with your vehicle manufacturer for information on your specific make and model.

For the price, you cannot beat these. I bought two. One for my 2004 Nissan Frontier, and one for my wife's 2014 Ford Focus. They were easy to install, and they work awesome. Look Great Too!
If you are not aware, these are exactly the same mirrors you would get if you went to your dealer and paid $300 for them. This manufacturer makes these for many Auto Brands. If you look at the Model # on the back of your mirror, you will see these are identical. Of course, there are different models to choose from, but this is the one I needed. We don't have a garage, don't need compass, and already have map lights on both vehicles.
I HIGHLY recommend this vendor due to the price for these.

I really like this mirror. Installed easy, works well, dims appropriately without issue. The only reason for deducting a star is the green LED is bright... REALLY bright, to the point where it's annoying at night. The purpose of this product is to dim the lights when you look at it - so to have the LED that bright is sort of counterproductive.
I bought this to replace the one of my 2000 Acura TL. To my surprise the mirror is identical to the old one. The only difference is on the base to attach to the windshield. For bonding I used the Permatex PermaPoxy 30 minute and leave the bonding to cure for about two days. The electric connection was easy since the original already have the connection. As of today the mirror is ok with no issues. I will highgly recommended this replacement.
Bought this item to replace the auto dimming mirror in a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. Pontiac wanted about $250 for the original part. This mirror performs like the original at a much lower price. This unit was also very easy to install since I was able to tap off of the original mirrors wiring.
The mirror came with everything I needed to have it mounted except for the glue, which I did not need as it fit on my already existing mount. The mirror works well and as expected.
