I bought the Wilton football pan & wanted to add a little something extra to the cake to make it more like a Saints cake (I posted a couple photos on here for y'all to see) so I came across this Fleur Di Les candy mold. The candy came out great!! It popped right out of the mold & was very easy to wash afterwards. I will definitely be buying more of these molds in the future.

I only used this mold once and wasn't thinking....I put it in the dishwasher and melted it. HOWEVER, I loved the result when using it and bought another one to replace it. I initially thought I would use this to make fondant pieces, but I couldn't make it work. I used melted chocolate and added them to my cake instead. The design is perfect. Classy. I would def recommend.

Gorgeous mold--we used it for a birthday cake for a Saint's fan, and they looked very cool. Lots of work to make the little band around the center a different color...and several of them snapped right there--be careful when applying any kind of pressure as you put them on the cake--they break right at the band.

The chocolate mold does a great job of holding its shape when it comes out of the mold. Make sure to tap the tray once filled with chocolate to get rid of any air bubbles. The chocolate pieces are not frail when released which is great! It is not dishwasher safe. Do not make the same mistake I did. Mine is now bent in the middle. Other than this it is perfect.

I bought 5 of these molds to make chocolates for my fleur-de-lis themed wedding. The size is perfect for one chocolate per favor. Getting the molds filled was a little tricky, but after several tries I got the hang of it. I will say it would have been much easier to get a mold where the overall shape was a square or circle, because some of these were tricky to get out - the edges kept breaking off - but I managed.
