I got these with two things in mind. My 12 year old hates eating breakfast and wants to come home after school and eat junk food. I figured these might kill those two birds with one stone. He loves them. I don't have to feel like I'm sending my kid to school and he's starving until lunch, and they satisfy his sweet tooth and keep him from asking when's dinner every five minutes. And I don't feel like I'm feeding him garbage. Win for him and win for Mom.

I was reluctant to try these even though they were on sale. I'm so glad I took the chance. I love the original Clif bars. I assumed these were more like granola bars - I'm not always a fan of granola bars.

I was right, these are granola bars. Similar to Nature Valley, but better in my opinion. They are slightly chewier than NV - just enough to keep the Crunch bar from exploding into crumbs when I bite into it, not nearly chewy like typical granola bars.

These taste much less artificial than other brands of granola bars. Maybe it's the organic, maybe it's just my personal taste, maybe it's the use of natural sweeteners vs. artificial. Whatever the reason, these Crunch bars don't taste overly sweetened or sugary. The peanut butter flavor was well defined, and again, didn't taste artificial or overpowering. A perfect balance of sweet and salty.

This box arrived at my doorstep yesterday. I just ate the last bar and figured I should write this review and order another box before I forget.

I am addicted to these things. I had a problem eating breakfast everyday (no time) and someone suggested just having a granola bar. I had eaten granola bars before and they were hard, and a bit stale tasting. My wife came home with these from Whole Foods one day and gave me one of these to try. They are amazing. They are lighter than a regular granola and almost taste like a peanut butter cookie. I eat one every day for breakfast in the car during my commute and we take them for snacks on trips and weekend outings. We eat them so much that now I order them 10 boxes @ a time from Amazon every couple of weeks (so I don't have to drive to Whole Foods since my local grocery does not carry these). Need the subscription feature on this item. :)

Yucky plastic aftertaste; don’t buy

I ordered a box of these being a fan of the classic Clif bars. These are not like the classic ones at all. They’re crunchy, which is fine, but they have an awful aftertaste. I can’t quite place it but almost like a weird plastic taste. Disgusting. I ended up throwing out the box.

I really like CLIF in general. This bar is similar to a cheaper brand that sells this, but the flavor is poor in comparison. The prices were very close between the 2 brands but I really enjoyed the peanut butter flavor of this much more. This was worth the xtra few cents.

1 star for value. Nature's valley makes the same effin thing, but without the premium. And they even package them the same, 2 bars per wrapper. Both kind of suck. The taste is alright, but it's not a pleasant treat to eat, and you will end up with half of it all over your clothes. Plus if you are like me and want your snacks 100 calories at a time, having 2 bars in a wrapper just seems so lazy.

These bars come two in a package (and two to a serving size!) and are absolutely delicious. They are crunchy and rich. The peanut butter bars taste like they are made with actual peanut butter holding the grains together. The white chocolate macadamia nut bars have little pieces of soy white chocolate in the bars and you can taste them when you bite in. These bars can keep me full for a while and are a great snack. Appropriate for a plant based diet.
