Billy and the Beast...a spirited gay man meets the beast just as gorgeous and insane as he is.

While the AkarFed scrambles for a solution they look to Earth, kidnapping and testing young men in the process. And as Billy's pregnancy progresses faster than it should, Vrak and the crew begin to worry that there is more going on than even they know.

Quickly, Vrak realized Billy is the gift he never thought he'd get, but if he doesn't figure out what the AkarFed is up to, and fast, Billy might not be his gift for long.

Man, do I love Billy lol. He goes toe to toe with everyone. Especially Phi and Tannish when he sees them. But it's not just them. He has something to say to everyone and they get an earful. Vrak, watching all this, sits back and tries not to laugh but he can't help it. His spitfire has a temper and a mouth and isn't afraid to use either one. But what Vrak sees that others don't, is how affected Billy really is. He's hurt, scared to death, angry and uses all that huff to block others from seeing how upset he really is. The Series Continues with a Great Read

The third book in the AKAR Chronicles Series, CLIP really should be read as part of the series in order to best be enjoyed, especially as they are characters that show up in previous books.
Billy spent time looking for his friends, and after he found out he was left behind, he found solace in the arms of alien Vrak. After a night with Vrak, Billy ends up pregnant, despite Vrak's people being sterile. While Billy's pregnancy progresses, Vrak and his crew try to figure out what is going on with the AkarFed!
This is such a fun and exciting read! The universe and characters are fun, sweet and sexy. The book itself has some aspects of action as well keeping the reader engaged. The entire premise of the series is one that I have not come across previously and is a great read!

Good romance, fun adventure, ridiculous science

How hard is it to make the science consistent? The last book had ridiculously impossible planetary movement, and this one was inconsistent with Seraphino's needs. With the speed of his development in the womb, there's no way that he wasn't going to be very closely monitored after birth, and no way that he would have had any kind of reserves to sustain himself on his own. And yet, we find out that, after birth, he was not only released to his parents care, but had spent several hours growing and developing without his body completely cannibalizing itself to get the energy required.

What did Gregor hope to gain by the kidnapping? He would have been able to prove that Akarians can create hybrids, but we've already seen multiple instances of that, and without the drugs Gregor was using that would have liked both Billy and Seraphino if they hadn't had competent medical intervention. And had they not been successful in creating a single other hybrid child in all of the months they'd been experimenting?

This book was actually fun to read, and I loved the gift that Billy and Vrax got. It kept both of them on their toes. I also am excited to see the next book and how the team will be able to reveal the duplicity of the AkarFed to the people.

Adventurous & well-written

I really enjoyed reading this adventurous MM Sci-Fi alien romance, this author has a unique style of writing that brings the characters to vivid life. The characters are likable & engaging with unique individual personalities & there is good support from the secondary characters. The story-line and plot is well-written & intriguing.
There is: a feisty young man (Billy) is determined to find his missing best friends (Tannish & Phoenix) when he comes into contact with an Akarian alien (Vrak) who assures Billy that his friends are fine & they spend the night together not realizing that there will be unexpected consequences, aliens, humans, hybrids, some twists, intrigue, drama, suspense, humor, adventure, actions, mystery, conspiracies, abductions, deceit, violence, conflict, unusual abilities, complications, manipulations, confrontations, decisions, contentment & some steam.

Fab addition to series!

This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I would recommend reading the books in order as characters from previous books make an appearance; this would makes things easier to follow.

A fantastic addition to the series!

Billy and Vrak’s bond sparked to life when they met. Poor guys couldn’t catch a break though, between the accelerated pregnancy and the things that happened after.

A great read with plenty of action, mystery and romance.

I’m hoping Wren’s story is next - can’t wait!

Kiki has done it again!

Clip is the 3rd in the Akar Chronicles and I feel this is the best yet! The MCs are Billy the human left behind when his friends are taken as cargo by aliens, and Vrak the alien sent by Billy's friends to retrieve him. They have an instant connection that moves fast through the story, they are a perfect pair completing each other and filling in the holes they each had in their lives. This story brings us explainations to what the AkarFed has been doing to its people and might bring them closer to saving them if they can survive. Also adorable babies!!

Finally Billy and Vrak!

Loved Billy and Vrak! Billy has been looking for his missing friends for a long time, getting nowhere, but both he and Vrak get the surprise of a lifetime when Vrak finds him working at the club Phoenix and Tannish disappeared from. Billy is sassy and goes after what he wants, including Vrak, and I love the spark they have between them from the second they meet. So much sass. And Vrak was so anti-perfect-pair that it’s HILARIOUS to see him so enthralled with his feisty mate. This book also got me in the feels, too, with the concern over their child and what was happening. Gah, my heart.

Great story with an entertaining, spicy romance and a little angst... just what I was looking for from Billy and Vrak’s story. I can’t wait for more Akar Chronicles!

Just finished this 3rd book in the series. I have to say I think this one was the best as far as story lines go. Just a wonderful read and totally hated when it got to the last page. This whole series has been very good and I recommend that you get all of them. I read an ARC of this book, with no obligation for a review.

Hmm, this was interesting. I personally haven’t read the others in the series but I don’t think it hurt my understanding what happened in this book. I understood how hurt Billy was that his friends had just left and he had been worrying about them. I think that’s Billy’s instant acceptance of everything once Vrak brings him to his friends was out of character and from then on he was all in even though he fought a lot before that.

I received an ARC of this book and am giving an honest review.
