Jeannine M. M. Lynn Penn is Director of Program Process Management at Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services (IS&GS), where she oversees policies and process command media, process compliance via audits, and process improvement activities. She is a Lockheed-certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Robert W. Stoddard is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the SEI, a Motorola-certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and President and CEO of Six Sigma IDS, LLC.

I read the book expecting to learn the synergy and complementary effect of CMMI and Six Sigma, but.............

I am certified in LSS and bought this to understand more about CMMI, which I do not know. Also I wondered how the two could work together. What a waste of trees. Case studies add nothing to illuminate a complex topic, and the book offers no concrete examples of how the two work together. I can only assume the subjects of case studies did not want their competitive advantage to be compromised by sharing details with the authors.
