there is no documentation that explains which wire goes to which pin
There junk and you will get burned if you try and buy any of these like I did.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
To setup:I took two 110 lines moved their breaker so they were next to each other but on different phases (240v across) and tied them together so they would trip together (bought breaker tie from Home Depot). Ran the two hots and the ground to a TWO POLE switch (so i could turn it off as needed) and then ran to the VFD, there you have to jump one power connection in this configuration but it is documented well. I used 14 gauge strand wire to route the 3 phase to the motor, this is more flexible and carries more amps than sold core wire, and fits the well made connector (be sure to soldered & shrink fit). I then was up and running via the panel. Next PC control: I am running Mach3 with Galil plugin, so I used my 4th axis to provide the 0v-10v power for PC control of spindle speed, you need to route BOTH this variable power 10V line and the ground from the Galil. Did not work at 1st but you must ground the FWD line to the ground line (simple jumper line). In the VFD also have to get settings right (FWD/REV) & (External Input 10V). Big improvement over the old router and all fully automated on/off & auto RPM. My first time doing one of these, take your time, wire very carefully and you can do it. I also ran all the power in flexible conduit to protect it, since we are dealing with a lot of voltage here. Cheers! Now go make something!
