I can’t wait for the next book in this series to come out.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it gets picked up and made into a movie.

The characters work well together and I was happy to go on the ride with them. Also, the writing is free-flowing and effortless to read, making it an enjoyable experience.
I was really caught up in the predicament that Liri finds herself in, but as the story progressed I felt a bit too much time was spent with, particularly the love interest of the story. Not a massive amount seemed to happen on propelling the plot forward, of what could be a really exciting thriller, given the premise.
As mentioned, at the end, the direction it took sent it on a path that would not interest me moving forward. The book is billed as science fiction, and it is, but with the appearance of aliens and multiple dimensions, that is not for me. Of course, there may be many others who love this and welcome the new direction. For those, they will probably really enjoy the book and look forward to the next in the series.
I still think there is a great futuristic corporate espionage thriller in there somewhere trying to get out.
