These socks are made well but I have a problem with the fit. They only come about 2/3 the way up my calf, so the fluid bulds up above the top of the sock on my calf. Other brands that I own go up to my knee and do not create a similar fluid build up problem. I am about 6 feet tall. So, nice product but maybe not suitable for longer legged people.
I've always loved compression apparel like shorts & leggings for working out, but until Comrad I'd never tried compression socks. They were always either too expensive, an eyesore, or even worse - both ugly & expensive. Comrad solves for both of these issues with a below-market price and some everyday, attractive styles. Most importantly, they really make my legs & feet feel great. I always wear them when flying but have recently started wearing them as my ski socks and after playing 18 holes of golf. In all instances, the socks did wonders in reducing swelling in my feet. Highly recommend giving these a try - just make sure to watch the tutorial video on how to properly put them on!

These are the second brand of compression socks that I'm trying after my specialist recommended that I get some to help with my POTS.
The first brand shall hitherto remain unnamed, but they left a bad bad taste in my mouth. However, I gained valuable experience from that brand and when I got these, inspected them before even trying them.
They seem of sound construction, so on they went. They were harder to get on then the afore-UN-mentioned brand so that's saying something. (I also broke a nail trying to get the second one on). For the first 30-minutes they've been comfortable and barely noticeable. I'm going to give them a 6-hour trial in just my house and then update my review.
-- update -- It took two days for the initial review to post before I could add the update... I absolutely love these! They are thick where it matters, warm, comfortable, and they are reducing the pain in my legs by two levels at most! Not only do I have POTS, I also have ME/CFS, RLS, and allodynia and these compression socks are making life a little more enjoyable. I put them on just as I wake up and take them off just before bed.
I'm in medical school, so there's lots of sitting during study sessions and lots of standing during clinicals. I started using compression socks a little over a year ago and have tried a few different brands. I'll say this brand is by far the most comfortable! What's different is the toe and heel area, I've found other socks to be very uncomfortable and I have to keep fussing with it. The toe and heel area in this sock are super soft and comfortable with plenty of space so your toes and ankles don't feel squished. The band at the top also helps with comfort so you don't have the top digging in. I bought the medium (Women's size 7) and they fir great. Just the right amount of compression and very comfortable. Will def be buying more in different colors!
if you are very strong you might be able to use these. I am not strong and it took me a full 30 minutes to work these socks on and longer to take them off. These are not for elderly people with weak fingers and bad backs. i'm sure they compress very well but i returned mine at once. They are lovely to look at. i wish they had worked for me.
These socks are great for what they are intended to do and work for the reasons you are looking to buy them. Like others who have reviewed they are difficult to get on. I recommend working in sections working toward the top of your calf and not to fight the socks, slower smaller sections will get them up in no time. If you are in a rush to get out the door these socks will slow you down. Once they are on they feel great and don't cut off circulation like other socks. You can easily wear them all day no issues or on long flights.
These are DEFINITELY compression socks! I got a medium and wear a size 9 shoe, and I had extreme difficulty getting these on. I am 7 months pregnant and my feet are not swollen at all yet, so I was trying them on for size and comfort and as a preventative measure to make sure my feet don't swell. I was able to get them on, and they are comfortable once on, however I think I will order a large to have on hand just to be safe because I know that if my feet swell at all I will never be able to get these on. Hopefully they will easier to put on the second and third and fourth time etc. They are cute though! and thin so you could definitely wear these with shoes no problem. So, I do recommend them, but maybe size up from what you would normally get.

Hard to get on and off, but that probably comes with the type of product. If they were not, wouldn't provide the needed support. I wore them 3 consecutive days for an average of about 6 hours a day. Any longer they were uncomfortable. After the 3rd day, ichy rash appeared on left chin area, turned to blisters next day. Kept spreading and getting much worse in following days. Doctor diagnosed as posion ivy, but I had not been anywhere to get exposed to posion ivy. Treated like a posion ivy allergy and got better over about week and half. Had not washed the socks before putting them on. Didn't even think about it. Wanted to check the fit. Source of the allergy not known, but would strongly recommend washing sock well prior to first use.
