i get really hot and sweat allot when working out which most people do:)
i wanted something to throw around my neck to wipe my face off with. i actually cut this towel in half and it fits around my neck better and doesn't get in the way.
it actually keeps you much cooler during a work out and is very handy. when it gets hot or feels warm, you can swing it in the air and it cools back down.
rinse it out when i get home, hang it to dry and we are good for the next day.
it makes a huge difference in body temp and helping stay cool.

I purchased the cooling towel with raquetball in mind. It took me a while after I bought it to actually get to the gym! I love it! It comes in a nice case and works very well to keep me cool. I would definitely recommend it. I had 2 people ask me about the towel at the gym because they had towels that really didn't even compare to this one. I told them where I purchased it from and they said they were getting one because mine was so much better than what they were using (I let them try it). I would recommend the cooling towel. Good price!

This does exactly what it says it will do. Thanks to another reviewer, I stored it wet in a big plastic bag and used it while attending a tennis tournament. It's nice and wide and I laid it across my arms. My friend used hers as a sunshade by draping it from her hat. We were both very pleased. It made sitting for hours and hours in the hot sun bearable. I've deployed various strategies to keep cool in these conditions, and this has worked best.

I wanted to use these for excercise, but you can only use them when they are soaked with water (they dont drip, they retain the water perfectly) but it is a little weird using them because they are clammy and damp. They do still absorb sweat and cool you down (as advertised). I just think they feel a little creepy.

Great Cooling Towel for Bikram Yoga

I do Bikram yoga several times a week. As you may know, it gets super hot in the room ... so hot, it's almost unbearable. Although the instructor may only turn the thermostat up to 110 degrees, it feels like 125 degrees or worse.

Even if you don't really exert yourself, you'll start sweating after about 10 minutes in the room. And I'm not just talking about breaking a little sweat ... I'm talking about sweat dripping off your nose and running down your back. Watching other people with sweat streaming down their bodies makes it even worse, so that eventually, you really feel uncomfortable. This is why I was thrilled to find this cooling towel from Magic Touches on Amazon. It's like a refreshingly cool breeze in the middle of hot yoga. I can't emphasize enough how good it feels. It cools me down and soaks the sweat right up, so I can carry on and make it through the entire series of challenging poses.

What I like most about it is it puts me back in charge of my body temperature. In the past, I'd be anticipating that moment when the instructor would finally fling open the doors that lead outside, so that a small breeze would give us a moment of relief. Now, I have a secret weapon ... I can reach for my cooling towel whenever I want. I'm definitely going to buy some more.
