Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2017THE SHORT VERSION: It is beautiful and well-built, and it would not look out of place on the desk of any professional in any office anywhere, and for the quality that you are getting the price is remarkably reasonable. Just get it.
THE GOOD STUFF:
In terms of build quality, the K66 is easily the best. It isn't really a competition. When attempting to bend the chassis, I am unable to elicit any flex whatsoever. The finish is nice and does not attract fingerprints. The board has a considerable heft to it.
The keys and indicator LEDs are all completely functional; there are no QC issues to be seen. The game mode key has a nice tactile bump when pressed, and has an indicator light under the keycap that shines red when it is on. Works perfectly, the light is easily seen unless under direct illumination from my desk lamp. Media control keys all work perfectly and also have a nice tactile bump.
Although it is marketed and listed as a "gaming" keyboard, most of the usual quirks that would entail have been excluded from this board. The keycaps do not have a ridiculous font. It is fairly plain and it is legible. I cannot ascertain the plastic used for the stock keycaps but they are all textured in a rather pleasing way.
THE BAD STUFF:
The Legends on the keycaps appear to be pad-printed, and they look like stickers that I could have put on myself. The entire border of the print is visible.
The homing keys have almost no homing indication on them at all. The pad-printed letters on the F and J keys are almost as thick as the homing bars.
The ridiculous spacebar. Why oh why, is the space bar sporting a diamond plating pattern all over it lol. Just... Why. It doesn't really fit in with the subdued nature of the rest of the keyboard.
The cable is non-removable which super bummed me out. It is fairly long, non-braided. Very plasticky, and although it is attached to the center of the board it is permanently facing right, I guess because of how it was packaged.
No USB passthrough, which would have been amazing. Always need more ports.
BOTTOM LINE:
It works exactly as intended, has a sturdy construction, and is gorgeous. The keycaps are easily swappable so if in a couple of months I decide that I hate them and can't bear to touch them, I can just order some different ones. The non-removable cable and not having USB passthrough is really the only substantial complaints I could make. Other than that, it may be my new favorite keyboard.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2019It's a Cherry based keyboard, I expected solid keys and got them. I did add dampers to the keys. Only complaint is I wish I had gone ahead and gotten the red or RGB version as I never realized how much the backlighting would have helped when I wanted it darker at my computer.
Also, the one red light on the windows lock key has stopped working, but that seems to be when I updated the Cue software and there is no option to obtain the older version to go back.
Would I buy Corsair again? Very likely.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2017Works great. Cherry Red switches are awesome. Bought this for work because I got a K70 LUX RGB at home, played on it for 1 weekend and loved it. I came back to my office to my membrane keyboard and my fingers vomited all over it. I hated it. I needed the same feel for the office, but didn't need all the lights. This keyboard is the business equivalent of the K70, or for gamers that want that mechanical keyboard feel but don't want any lighting.
Pros: Cherry Red switches, interchangeable key caps (though none included), Good solid feel - its a heavy unit. Handy media controls. Standard lights for Caps, Number and Scroll lock. CUE 2 software is great. Super powerful, though not highly intuitive. If you really want to got something done in it you can find all the help you need online.
Cons: If I had to be picky, the top is plastic and the base of the switches are recessed slightly below the rest of the top of the keyboard surface. This creates areas for crap to collect. Looking at mine, after only using it for a few weeks it already needs to be blown out, BUT it does blow out easily with an air duster.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2020I like the simplicity of this keyboard. The mechanical keys give good feedback and all the buttons, e.g. for sound control, make sense. This keyboard just works. Except when it doesn't. After 3 years, my "N" key switch stopped working, and it looks like there's no warranty. I would expect a product like this to be more robust to time.

PabloReviewed in Australia on July 24, 20181.0 out of 5 stars Very misleading
Be careful buying this. I received a K66 that didnt have any of the features listed. The only correct thing was the switch type. It is not even backlit which is very frustrating

Great for gamers, without the gaming lights and look. Removable keys. Would buy again without hesitating.

Sergio ArturoReviewed in Mexico on March 6, 20185.0 out of 5 stars Buena realación calidad precio
