Great but with a major flaw

This new Cosori is the same great performing air fryer as the old version. I notice that now there is a silicone bumper that the end of the inner basket rests on instead of flopping around. Problem is this part must have popped out duing cleaning. The outer basket now has a hole which is slightly elevated but will leak cooking juices in use, especially when shaking food up! THey should have made the bumper a part of the inner basket and now the outer basket which now leaks and poses a hazard. Otherwise this air fryer is really the best. Trying to get a hold of Cosori customer support to see if a replacement silicone bumper can be obtained.By TobycW on August 21, 2020

You are able to download a VeSync app to control this device. This makes it sooooo easy to preset your oven. Although you can set the cooking preset, temperature and cooking time, you will need to manually press start. At first, this was a hassle, but I have a 9 year old who loves to "fix" her own food. Being able to set the temp and time for her was a plus. She was still able to place her food into the oven all by herself without risking that it would be too hot. Then, when she was ready, all she needed to do was press START. The app also has suggested recipes for your oven. We tried the Sweet Chili Shrimp and were thrilled that it came out looking just like the picture! And it was good too!! You are also able to customize recipes which my family and I absolutely LOVED doing. My favorite customized recipe was for my famous steak! You are able to save not only your cooking settings, but also your ingredients, step-by-step instructions and a picture! The app keeps up with your cooking time and you can also control the light in the oven.
It also has a voice control feature so that you can control it with you Alexa or Google devices! By far, my most favorite bonus feature. In the app, you can give your oven a nickname. My kids and I named our oven "BOB". So, when using our Alexa devices, we are able to control "BOB". Unlike using the app, when utilizing the Voice Command feature, you are able to turn the device on to start your cooking.
Included in the packaging are a wire rack, a food tray and a fry basket. If you are not sure which accessory to use, do not worry! The instruction manual let's you know the preferred accessory dependent upon your cooking task. There are 3 different levels inside of the oven; one on the top, one in the middle and the last at the bottom. On the outside window of the oven, it lets you know which level to cook your food on based on which setting you are using. SO HELPFUL!
Now on to the cooking! The food that we have made in here has been nothing short of amazing! In my household, we use the oven, stove, air fryer or pressure cooker. But since using the Oven, we have only used the Oven and pressure cooker. We were able to fry chicken with ease, make a pizza and even cook a steak! Steak is definitely my favorite and I am an expert on my cast iron skillet, BUT cooking the steak in this oven was 100x easier and the steak was packed full of flavor and juicier than I could have ever imagined! Each of these presets have worked like a charm. It has taken my family some trial and error to perfect each setting to our taste preferences, but AGAIN, that has been one of the perks of this oven and all of it's features. We have been able to customize the settings to our liking!
Our family is big on ordering pizza and wings, but now they love getting together and MAKING their own pizza, wings and we have even made parfait (something we would have NEVER thought about doing prior to having this oven).
Cleaning the oven is simple. We use Dawn Ultra Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray and it helps to keep the oven looking brand new after each use.
All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this product. It is user-friendly and even your children can operate it.

Teflon coating on both baskets FLAKED OFF after a few uses. It's disappointing that for the price $$$ that happens. I followed instructions included with my purchase. I never used inner basket without a piece of parchment or silpat at the bottom. And, the COSORI label on the front panel RUBBED OFF??? It cooks great though.

I dont give full reviews until a few months to a year. Everything works for now however I have noticed some scratches and blemishes which makes me believe this may have been refurbished or something.
