Product Description
This adapter cable allows your to connect standard fan header devices to your graphics card. Most graphics cards use a proprietary mini 4-pin connector for their fans but the electrical connection is identical to traditional 4-pin PWM enabled fans. This cable is especially ideal for use in graphics cards modified with an AIO cooler where the nearby fan and pump can connect directly to the graphics card. One important thing to highlight is that not all connections in a fan splitter can be split. Pin 3 (RPM tachometer) is the signal that is generated by the fan (or pump) and sent back to the fan header for software RPM monitoring. This signal cannot be split to multiple fans as it would cause inaccurate RPM reading. Please take note which can connector has the 3rd pin as it will be the primary device sending the RPM signal back to your graphics card.

One thing I would change is if they could make it with a right angle connection to the GPU, it would have been perfect. I broke a little plastic on one of my GPU fan headers because it wants to go straight up. If you are using the G12, it could be a bit annoying to deal with. It works fine though, using it on a 1080Ti SC2 ICX card.
The Amazon review for this asks me how warm, thick and sheer this item is, and I can wholeheartedly say that its just fabulous for all three.

Update 2020.07.20 - Purchased another to performa a similar mod on a new-to-me MSI RX5700XT. Went from a jet engine to barely audible except under intense benchmark loads with two Noctua NF-P12. Junction temps went from 105-108 to 98-102 depending on ambient temps.
I just wish they come with an L shape connector on the GPU side. It was a bit challenging to route the cable when the connector is directly behind a heatsink. But this problem is probably specific to each card and heatsink design, so I'm not taking any star off from this cable.
