Innovation and Integrity. To Us, Nothing Matters More.
These convictions come first. Innovation means building products that will continue to lead and define the industry in terms of creativity and utility; it means constantly asking ourselves how we can be better. For the past 25 years, we’ve released industry-shifting innovations and worked with some of the most renowned custom and independent knife designers in the world. What really ties it all together though, is our true guiding light.
We are guided by integrity—this is critical to how we’ve chosen to do business. It means interacting with our customers and each other honestly and directly. It also means building products that perform reliably and a brand that behaves consistently, decade after defining decade. We were born in Oregon, and our knives and tools truly reflect the rugged terrain from which they come. That, to us, makes all the difference.

Put it on your belt. Then put several tasks to bed. Designed by Liong Mah of Palm Bay, FL, the Viva keyring multi-tool hangs like a keychain. But it acts like a toolbox when you need it.Like those who carry it, the Viva gets a lot done with a little. At just under 4 inches long it still manages to pack in a flathead screwdriver, a hex wrench in 5 different sizes, pry bar and bottle opener for when you're all done.Grab hold of this one and you'll see that its design is where it really shines. The stonewashed stainless steel handle serves two purposes. It includes a ring that helps with finger retention but also helps keep the multi-tool on your belt or gear where it belongs. The Viva is yet another in a long line of uniquely designed multi-tools by Mah who is a bit of a sci-fi fan. But while its look may seem alien, the feeling of getting the job done with it is a familiar one.Let the Viva rest at your side and let countless chores rest in peace.Specifications:Blade Finish: StonewashOpen Length: 3.99" (101.35 mm)Weight: 1.1 oz (31.18g)Handle: Stainless SteelStyle: Multi-Tool

Not really sure why some are having issues with this guy. The only real issue I could see is that it is a little long and the loop for the key ring is slightly deep but...
So it’s long. Yes and to some that’s may be a con but to me it makes the key hanger feature work significantly better than all the others I have tried. The BitVault doubling as a key hanger is the exception but that guy weighs more, holds stuff, and is $50.
The Viva runs under $10 (got mine for $7) and finally let me put a pry bar in my pocket with some hex wrenches and a flathead withiugh ripping my pants apart. Even if I’m not hanging it from my pocket or jeans there aren’t any sharp edges on the 2 Vivas I own. No risk of cutting my hand like with the Griffin Pocket Tool or poking my leg like with the Gerber Shard and Mullet tools.
This is what it is. No apologies and doesn’t try to cram 20 things in one for the sake of it. What is there works great and with the ring allows to get great torque on hex bolts and use of the tip as a pry, flathead, or box opener. The bottle opener is the one bonus to me but again, it works.
A little laser etched ruler on the side would be my only real “want” to add as this thing does come in at almost 4 inches. 2 inches on the flat edge marked out would have proven handy but all in all a great little tool at at a great price tags that isn’t heavy to carry daily and is easy to use.
Tip: use a slim carabiner through the key ring to attach your keys. Makes it easier to dangle the tool from your pants and you can remove it to use it very simply.
The Viva is a beautifully designed tool and feels nice in the hand. It is larger than I expected at about 4 inches, which can be a con at times depending on the depth of my pants' pockets, and it has a decent heft to it, which can be a pro or a con depending on one's tactile pleasure preferences. The other features of the tool are nice to have handy, but I personally don't have a lot of use for them. As such, I would like to see a version of the Viva that is an inch or two shorter just featuring the pocket clip.
I did use the pry tip to unwedge a stubborn D ring in my buddies truck that had rusted due to all the rain we've been getting in Florida.
There are a few notes I'd like to make about this multitool as functional as it may be:
1.) The placement of the key ring hole is probably in the move inconvenient location they could possibly imagine. I attached a small key ring onto it so and attach it to my keys with an S biner so the keys won't get in the way. This leads me to number 2.
2. The hole location doesn't allow keys to hang in pocket but still sit at the bottom of the pocket which is a little inconvenient; I know that's nitpicking but my Pickpocket Alpha allowed my keys to sit in a way that were easy to remove.
3. It's a lot larger than most keychain tools which is a double-edged sword. It allows you to perform more tasks than you could with a regular sized keychain multi tool, however it does add bulk to your pocket.
Overall it's a great product I just wish it were a smudge smaller and the hole was located closer to where the belt clip is.
Also the bottle opener hook is really good for tearing through packing tape on boxes.

Or just have it on a belt hoop on your pants.
The screw driver part works well, the bottle opener as well (which often cheap one piece multi tool get wrong), have not used the wrench part yet.
