We have a small garden and I'm hoping this book will help me effectively use some of our yield this year. Also looking forward to trying some of the sweet treats that are made from fruit- I don't like giving my kids too much store bought candy because of all of the dyes and random ingredients. It will be neat to make it from scratch from something that at least has some nutritional value.
Note: I originally started reading this on eBook as my one free book a month as a Prime member. I ordered it in print after getting a few chapters in. The eBook is a nice resource, but this really has so many recipes that I can use that it's just a bit nicer to flip through in print.
Not only that, but the author is sweet, smart lady who always full of new ideas. If you buy this book, you can feel good knowing that you're supporting someone who is excited to share with others, and is happy to help others in their exploration of the Homesteading lifestyle in any stage - from complete newbie to seasoned off-gridder (is that a word? It is now!).
