They are high quality (low loss in my testing) coax splitters. I use them mainly to replace or upgrade my family members, friends, and clients spitters if they have cable internet. I find either no change in speed/signal quality or a slight but noticable difference. Enough that the speed is improved it's more than worth the price. Also rules out if it is a bad or just crummy splitter that's the cause for lower than expedcted or advertised speeds. Often the splitters are overlooked during troubleshooting by even the cable company itself. It's been rare but I've also replaced a few splitters that were used solely for over the air TV. On every occasion the signal strength was increased for some channels and on a few occasions more channels were picked up. I plan on continuing to purchase these when needed. Thanks Cable Matters!
I tried to connect my Comcast Modem/Router to this splitter and I was unable to get an internet signal on my computer. I tried each individual port making sure it was tightly screwed in and still was unable to transmit a signal to my computers - both splitters in the package did not transmit internet signal.
