Dynamic RedMere® Solution
RedMere Technology uses an embedded active chip in the display (TV) connector that draws extra power from the source device. The RedMeret chipset uses processing technology to boost the signal and reduce data loss on each channel. This results in a cable that is 70% thinner, can bend up to 180°, and still utilize a full 10.2 Gbps of bandwidth.

Nice thin HDMI cable

I have more HDMI cables than I know what to do with. I have long ones, short ones, thin ones, thick ones, fast ones, slow ones, old ones, new ones. These are my favorites. They are nice and thin, transfer data at high speeds and the cable is really flexible. At the end of the day it's just an HDMI cable and will probably display whatever it is you need it to as good as the super cheap ones. They are a little bit on the pricey side but well worth it to me as I needed a thin cable to fish through my entertainment center and wall. Would definitely buy these again. Great so far, VR is pretty brutal on cables though.

So far so good, used this to replace my HDMI cable for my HTC Vive. This is the 3rd time I've done this, and this is the only one that comes close to the original size of the cable. The actual size of the connector is a little bigger than expected but it did manage to fit in the enclosure barely; also keep in mind that your original cables (USB and power) are 16.5ft as they account for the leeway needed to loop over your head. You will lose 18in of total cord length, but it's a lot better than my old solution of buying a small low profile cable then connecting it via an adapter then electric taping the crap out of the whole thing.

My only real request would be a more rigid enclosure for the entirety of the cable as i'm sure I will inevitably step on it and strip the copper connectors from one side right when my warranty runs out. I would gladly pay $30 or so if Cable Matters did this.

As the description says - direction matters! There is a Source and TV end to these - the first HDMI cables I have bought that do. I missed that and with the 50-50 odds I got it wrong the first time and thought the cable was defective until I saw the labeling on the connectors. Connected correctly, the cable works as it should and and it is slim - the reason I bought this one. I have other Cable Matters products and they work well.

Yes, at this length (3ft), these cables work for 4K. Works perfect on the PS4 PRO, Xbox one slim, Samsung 4K TV and HDMI 2.0 Chroma 4:4:4 receiver. Forget what Cable matters says about the cables not being a 2.0 cable. There's no such thing! There's no such thing as a 240hertz cable either. That's a refresh rate for the television.

For most cables at 3ft, 4K will work perfectly. Purchase these cables with confidence! And cable matters... don't be afraid to tell your customers that your 3FT cables work with 4K in all aspects because they absolutely do.

Active HDMI cables at this length and size ARE NOT NEEDED.

Everyone, BUY THESE CABLES!!! They are excellent and of a small and manageable form factor.

Good job Cable Matters. These cables deserve 4K certification :)

Works great, but the 25' is not "thin"

These do basically what they say on the tin- a 25' (directional) HDMI cable. You plug it in, picture comes out. I think it's important to note that this is not one of the "thin" cables that are also sold in this listing, which is confusing. The thin cables are the 15' and shorter. That said, this isn't a garden hose. It's about the size of a regular HDMI cable but a little more flexible (and without the ferrites on both ends). I ran these through a wall with no trouble.

If you are looking for HDMI cables, then stop looking elsewhere. These are awesome cables! Admittedly, it's hard to get excited over cables but the fact that it's so slim makes my setup look so clean. It also allows me to push back my TV stand further because I don't have multiple (thick) HDMI cables in the way. It never hurts having a few extra so make sure to purchase different lengths to avoid slack and clutter.

I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a slim, flexible, easy to stow cable.

Great if you need a thing HDMI cable

For their slim size these HDMI cables work quite well. I needed them in an application where the thicker cable I was using kept pulling the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter out of my computer. This cable solved the problem! I haven't noticed any picture quality or sync issues at all.
