Worked with HTV Vive Control Box

Got this as an output to the HTV Vive control box. I only had one HDMI Port on my 980ti and even though I had a second 980ti, my HTC Vive couldn't use it. Since the HTV Vive has a mini Display Port input on its control box, I got this cable. So my HDMI monitor could be the second screen, while a display port could go to the VR Headset. Worked Perfectly.

Works with MacBook Pro @ 4k monitor

I bought this to hook a Macbook Pro up to a 4k monitor. Simply put, it works. The quality appears to be great, but time will tell. It plugs in & is capable of doing 4k @ 60hz, which is all I asked out of it.

Fixed Apple's Sierra + HDMI regression

I was one of the users affected by Apple's move to disable external 1440p over HDMI. After upgrading my OS X to Sierra, my external monitor (Dell U2515H), which had worked brilliantly for 2 years over HDMI @ 2560x1440, was suddenly limited to 2048x1152. FUVM, Apple. Anyway, this cable resolved the issue. Running the monitor over DP immediately restored the monitors native resolution. It's a high-quality cable, too. Very happy with the purchase. Still annoyed at Apple.

Would definitely recommend this cable if you're getting a 144Hz monitor

This cable is the cable I use to connect my 144Hz ASUS monitor to my MSI laptop with a GTX980M. The monitor runs 144hz flawlessly. Would definitely recommend this cable if you're getting a 144Hz monitor.

Update: I contacted the company and they offered to send me a replacement. I took them up on their offer and received a working cable. It's unfortunate that I had to go through this exchange, but it's great that the company stood by their product enough to send me a replacement. It all worked out in the end. I purchased from Amazon via JEDirect.

Cable just doesn't work. I have a spare I swapped in and tested where this was going to be and it did work, yet this one doesn't. Poor product in general, connectors feel very cheap

Bought this cable to work with my new LG 34UC88-B 34-Inch 21:9 Curved UltraWide QHD IPS Monitor and it works great. Nicely constructed, clear picture and works with active display and Freesync compatible. I especially like the long length of the cable and the gold connectors. Would buy again. Actually, debating on buying a second one for my MacBook so I can have dual inputs that the monitor can do under sub computers using the same keyboard and mouse on single screen, similar to a KVM switch, but being able to view both monitors side by side at same time through the PBP (Picture by Picture) functionality the monitor offers. This is the first Displayport monitor I've owned and the cable supplied was only a meter (3 feet) in length.

Works as advertised for Surface Pro 4

I bought this cable as a quick way of connecting my Microsoft Pro 4 to my monitor when at home. I had previously been using the Microsoft Mini Displayport to VGA adapter and wanted something that would allow for a higher resolution. This cable does all that it claims to do. I have the cable hooked up to my primary monitor and simply plug my Surface in when i am home. The monitor is detected instantly every time and I have had no problems with flickering. At 9 dollars, this cable is worth it.

Out of curiosity, I tried to use this cable with my Surface Pro 2 . Simply, put, this cable will NOT work. I believe that has to do with the unusual way that the mini DP port is designed on the SP2, not any problem with the cable. Rankie does not say that the SP2 is supported, and I believe that this is the reason.
