The mickey mouse end fit well into the charger which is what I needed. If this does not fit into your charger snug, I would suggest looking at the charger as a culprit. These fittings are standardized. The only way this wouldn't fit, is if you got the wrong cable end or if the charger had become slightly deformed from either heat or from force.
Someone complained about the cables being thin and possibly heating. 90 watt charger draws less than 1 Amp. From general rule of thumb, 22 AWG is sufficient (maybe not for long runs, but this is not a long run). Maybe even smaller would be sufficient. While I haven't cut this cable up to see what it is made of, I am not worried about this cable heating.
Thicker cables tend to last longer because it is usually better at withstanding repeated bending back and forth. I have not used this very long, so I cannot attest for this particular cables longevity, but I'm not going to put unnecessary stress on it. All cables will break eventually if bent back and forth enough. Because lap top chargers tend to get abused more, and because this is relatively difficult to find locally, I bought 2 just in case.
My only complaint, which was a disappointment since Amazon has always been very prompt in shipping out items, is that I ordered this on the 10th and I had to contact Amazon for a tracking number. It wasn’t until the 16th that they finally got around to supply a Tracking Number which showed delivery for the 18th, which did arrive on the 18th. However, their “Fulfillment Center” for this item was in Phoenix which is just hours away and Amazon was unable to explain why it was taking several days to prepare for shipment.
Since I have only had this for 3 days and is working fine, if there are problems with its functionality down the road, I will definitely add a revision to this review. In the meantime, if anyone is looking to replace the power cord and needs a Mickey Mouse end and flat, this 125w is for you.
