They are adept at playing old standards from the early days of country music (Louvin Brothers, Hank Williams), as well as writing new, poignant, sad and heartwarming songs. They can play, sing, and write with the best of the old timers.
They are the real thing. If you like blue grass, old-time country, or even eclectic folk music, you must give these Minnesota brothers a try. Garrison Keillor gave them an try or two on a Prairie Home Companion, and he didn't regret it.
My soul yearns for this. Reminds me of my parents when they would play the old music from the South Pacific Islands. The guitars were brought to the islands and soon the islanders developed the slack key. My Dad would play the dickens out of an acoustic. The islanders modeled after all the great Grand Ol' Opry back then. THANK YOU GENTLEMEN! Thank you! As my friends from the south would say, "Old Timey!"
I have never been to concert in my life, but this I need to hear live, is going to be my top priority. My brothers and sisters all tear up when they hear you guys. God Bless!
